i finally booked our October trip yesterday. for the first time ever i was told i had to pay a ten percent deposit. usually i would make a safety booking as there was no deposit and could change it if something better came along, i guess this is no longer possible. anyone know when they changed this?

Hi Sonya :goodvibes, hows life treating you?

Sorry I can't help with the changes to the Irish site booking process, but you can still upgrade/change your booking later if its come into line with the UK site.

hiya, we go in 3 weeks:goodvibes i booked at 30% off i actually thought i had booked at 40% off but i must of heard the girl wrong on the phone. anyway last wk i re priced my trip, it was coming in at 60 euro cheaper plus it was a montana room rather than the standard i booked, so i rang them up and they said there was nothing they could do as the 40% was only for new bookings!!! then this morn i had a brain wave lol!! i rang them up and asked could i upgrade to a montana room but of cource the 40% was now finnished!! they did qoute me the new bookings price. she told me last wk if i wanted the 40% off i would have to cancel and rebook!! but that would obviously cost me more in the end!! im going to keep an eye out and see will the 40% come back and try ringing and try upgradeing again and see, will let you know. sorry prob not much help.

It seems to be hit or miss if you get an upgrade when the % changes. Some people on here have got it and some havent. Personally, I didn't so probably being a bit cross about the inconsistency!!!!

When I have booked by phone I have always laid a 10% deposit.minfsct I booked during a 15% off sale and when the 40% sale came along I managed to upgrade from SF to SQL for €40

im great elaine, glad to be booked up again. ash cant wait, she was sick all week so at least i got a smile out of her when i told her i booked.

i got my confirmation through and yes the booking conditions have changed for irish bookings. 10% deposit and you have to pay 60 days before your trip. it used to be no deposit and 30 days before your trip.

i will be avoiding the dlp website from now till october lol

I'm sure it perked Ash up no end, has she been through her wardrobe and picked out her Princess dresses for the trip yet :goodvibes?
