What would happen if we had a reservation for 5 people and only 4 of us ended up being able to go?

We had reservations for 5 people, and now my husband isn't going to go with us. I was able to redo all of my ADRs except for Sunday night at Ohana. If we show up with only 4 people will they turn us away?

Thanks!

They shouldn't. One year, my DW got sick and we had to do 3 ADR's without her. We just showed up and told them the deal and they didn't even bat an eyelash.

Really don't think you'll have a problem. Especially going down in size. When we went with friends a couple of years ago they decided at the last minute to not go with us to a couple of our ADR's. It was never a problem. One of them was also at Ohana. They didn't even bat an eye when we told them.

Shouldn't be a problem. When you arrive to check into the restaurant just explain there is now 4 instead of 5. They will still seat you.

Subtracting people won't be a problem. It's when people want to show up with extras that they could get turned away.

Thank you, I didn't want to miss Ohana, its one of our favorites :) Glad to know I don't have to stress over it!

The only time when downsizing can become an issue is for the few places where you need a credit card to hold your reservation. Since 'Ohana is not one of those places, there is nothing to worry about.
