I don't know what ever possessed me to look at wedding dresses again. I love the dress I bought for my wedding...until I saw this...ARRGGGHHH!

Anyway, we are having a sunrise ceremony, and very informal. I ran across this dress, and it's all I've thought about since then. Very vintage looking, but I love it!

What am I going to do?! :upsidedow

I say keep the first one as it was your first choice (if that makes sense). I almost switched as well and I am so glad I didn't because there was a reason I chose it in the first place, it was perfect. To be honest I really don't like the new dress as it is and to go on an impulse might back fire.

Thanks for your opinion Skylarr! I'll definitely sleep on it for a few nights before I make a decision. One of the drawbacks of the new one, is I'm a tad bit worried it will make me look a little hip-py, as I'm not very thin.

Oh, BTW, I just noticed your siggy....CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thank you!!:goodvibes

I second guessed my dress choice all the way til the day of but once I put it on I remembered why I chose it. Just sleep on it and if you really love it, get it. I'm hippy too so that was a challenge when dress shopping.

I'm such a bad influence on you Kel!! Me of the two dresses! :rotfl:

Honestly, I like this dress, but I wonder how it will look with what Gregg's wearing. Is he still wearing the shirt you chose? I love your other dress with what he's wearing, all your accessories and bouquet :lovestruc

That makes three for being hippy!

I agree with Skylarr! You chose your first dress for a reason.

I made the mistake of going dress shopping with a friend of mine who is also getting married pretty soon! I saw a dress I loved but I decided that I was going to sleep on it. After shopping I went home and tried on MY dress! And i remembered all over again why I chose it. :cool1:

Since then I try not to look at other dresses... Although it is a little hard at times.

I actually bought 3 when I got married. The first was while we were dating, I found it accidently on clearance at JCPenny. After we got engaged I felt I needed to go dress shopping, were #2 was bought. ONE month before the wedding I bought my 3rd (which I LOVED).

Pick something that you LOVE for the wedding day! I think the dress in that pic is gorgeous, but you only get one day.

:rotfl: You are a baaaaaaad influence! LOL And you are right, I'd have to re-think Gregg's shirt too, which isn't a biggy, since I still haven't bought it yet...the accessories have to stay though!

I think my problem is I need to stop looking, I really do love my dress, even if it's not formal!

What does your dress look like now?

Just a simple knee-length sundress....

Eeek!! Don't look at any other dresses! You will drive yourself crazy! I had to stop looking at the bridal magazines I had subscriptions to because I was starting to hate the dress I bought! But there is no way I'd buy another one! If I just stay away from other dresses, I love mine! It's just so hard. I say stick with what you have and don't look back!

Okay, it's official, I need to put on blinders until the big day!! :rotfl:

Tink_Kel...

I love your other dress, I remember seeing it posted with the necklace and flowers and thinking they worked beautifully together! :thumbsup2

But for future reference...where did you find that other dress? I'm debating a 1950's swing type theme, and I'd love to find a designer with that kind of style!

Thanks!

Thank you! They have some beautiful dresses. I really like the "Edmondton" too.

Kel stop looking at other dresses lol. You will drive yourself nuts.

I bought a new dress 4 months before my wedding and I am SO glad I did. My original dress was gorgeous, but I was so much more comfortable in the second dress!

I love both dresses but I think that with your flowers, jewelry and theme that you are going for, your first dress fits it perfectly!
