Change ADR less that 24 hrs out?

I know we would need to pay $10 per person if we cancel our ADR too late but could we switch it to another time if a better time opens up at the same restaurant? If not, how late could we cancel and not get hit with the penalty?

I was playing around on MDE and saw that they have a BOG breakfast open for tomorrow at 8:10am. That is better than what we have planned so I just want to be ready in case the same opportunity happens on our trip.

You can cancel any time the day prior, up to 11:59 p.m.

Some folks have reported success by calling and changing a same-day reservation, but that's more pixie dust than policy.
