There is one major casino in town, Crown Casino. But there are plenty of venues that have poker machines in them. Most pubs and bars, in fact.

I do play them from time to time; but very rarely. I rarely win; so its for pure entertainment. But I have to admit that I prefer having dinner out with friends instead. Like you said, it can be expensive.

I live in a small town with only 2 little restaurants but this casino has lots of fine dining and is only a half hour away.

They're ok if you like hamburgers all the time! We have nice restaurants in Battle Creek and Lansing, tho which aren't too far away.

Yes Lansing is nice. One of my son's lives there and works for one of those industries. (GM)

I used to work for a petrochemical company; which merged with another company and then merged with another company. I think Basell might still have the US HQ in Lansing. Nearly made it to Lansing whilst I was working for them but never quite made it. GM is supposed to be a great company to work for.

Yes, they still have a location in Lansing (I googled it), My son actually works for a paint company employed by GM. He takes readings of the paint on the cars and then enters the data. He went to school to be a HS Math teacher but this job came along and suits him very well.
