Chances people will want superhero...

Just wondering what you all thought on this. I have bought an extra of every costume for later trades, hoping people will need them in a few months. Do you think anyone is going to want the superhero costumes? They really hold no appeal to me though I will buy at least one of each to add to my collection. Just curious what others take on this is.

I don't find the suits particularily attractive to me either (save for the masks), however I'll be buying extra of those as well because honestly, it doesn't hurt to have extra and you never know who might want them.

I personally don't care for the super suits, not very flattering on a pirate figure. lol I was able to do the green super quests with some of my other players and to be honest with you, I have not been able to trade them away since then. I will be buying an extra pink super, just in case but not green.

Let's see, back in March I bought 3 green suits. Traded one immediately while it was still sold to a DISer for a pink dress that I had missed out on.

Fast forward to now, and I still have 2 full suits. Everywhere you look, regardless of the site, it seems to me that is the one costume that players consistently have a horrible time trading. Time after time I see people listing it in their trade threads, and not a single person offers on it. I myself tried to get rid of my extra for months, but not a soul wanted the thing. Which is why I truly don't understand why VMK felt the need to re-release it. The pink yes, but I don't see the point of bringing back green when I've only seen maybe 10 people total wearing it since the month it came out ended. That being said, I'll probably buy 2, which is a lot less than I'm buying of the other outfits. I'm just hoping they come with the mask this go round. I was in WDW at the time, so I never got a mask.

This being said, I thought the green flip hat was silly and traded mine away soon after it was gone, now they are in demand.

when the green suits first came out. I bought 15 of them.

I now have 16 because someone traded me one. I have never been able to unload them.

PersonallY I love my green Superhero Suit. That said even though a lot of the newer players dont have it , I have only been approached twice in 3 months asking about a trade for it. I plan on buying an extra just in case but i dont see a demand for it like the mansion suit.

I don't know if this will really be feasible. I don't believe that they have allowed the mask to be traded yet.
I still have yet to understand their reasoning behind that action.

As for the green suit, I bought 8 when it came out. 2 to keep for my own characters and 6 to trade away. I currently have 5 left. So I have been lucky enough to trade away 3. The boots are far more popular than the suits, though.

I haven't totally decided what I'm going to do about them. I know I will buy more of the boots, but I might only buy 2 more of the suits.
It really depends on how much the mystery item and everything else costs.

this will be a slow costume buying week for me... I will buy ONE pink supersuit (well 2, 1 for my dd) and maybe 2 yellow explorer outfits and that's it... dont like them.. but need to have just the one from myself. I have enough of the other cooler costumes for trading down the line... I do dig the masks, so I hope they sell them and that they will be tradable!!

...I already had a green suit without the mask. I bought only 4 green costumes (I've been buying a dozen of each other type for trading) as the hero costumes don't have high trade value. I bought a mask (one for me - YAY!) and did a test trade with a friend, it is Tradable! Yay again! I bought a dozen masks, those trade well.

I was sorely disappointed that the girls get another new costume and the boys don't... the pink hero costume is girls only.

I agree it is a little unfair to boys. The Jafar Hat is great but that could have been a boy only release.
