I have our annual March break trip for our home resort AKL (March 8-15) but we looking at maybe heading to California instead!

I know VGC is a small resort but what would our chances be to score those dates in either a studio or 1-bedroom? The RAT shows full availability at this point, but I'm worried people may be walking their dates!

Edit to add: If we can't get VGC is it worth using our points for the other Disney Collection hotels available at Disneyland?

Thanks!

With Easter being Apri 1st spring breaks may be a bit early? Either way, they start cascading mid march. If you can get anything, it will def be a 1 bedroom.

I was able to get a studio this past March, but I was online exactly when booking opened up at the 7-month mark and hit the button to book. There wasn't anything available by the time I was done booking.

I'll be online bright and early at 8am on August 8th to see if I can snag something! If nothing is available, I was going to submit a request for a room at Paradise Pier, any feedback on using points for that?

I would compare the cost in points to the cost of a room.

Looking at rates for next March, SV is already gone for your dates. Premium View is $485 for the weeknight and $509 for the weekend nights. Weeknight for 2017 was 44 points/night and weekend was 55 points/night. Depending on your points and when you bought them, your points may have you ahead on these rack rates, or not.
