Chances of More Park Availability?

Has anyone gotten lucky and found more park reservation availability as it gets closer to the days of your trip? I have reservations for this weekend (5/7-9) but I’d really love to switch my parks around to different days but the 9th has no availability left…

When we were approaching our trip (4/23-4/30) there was last minute availability that opened up for HS. We were able to add an extra day there. MK never had a change in availability. I set an alert on Thrill Data and got the notification a few days later. Not sure what changed but I was happy to ride ROTR and SDD on my first park day
