Chances of Free Dining coming back for Fall

My husband kept me on the fence too long and we missed the free dining window. I know that no one knows for sure, but does anyone thing free dining will return for the fall?

I would be surprised if it didn't. I am waiting and hoping for free dining for December. I'll take a % off pin code though in the meantime. Where are those code fairies when you need one?

I hope so! I need to book for August, but could not do so during the last offer time period.

No way to know. We can't even guess based on past years because all that went out the window when they started booking in September for dates through 9/29/11.

I booked free dining for Christmas 2009 in June. I can't remember when it came out for 2010. But I agree this is the first time they have released one in Sept. that extended into the next year so who knows! I have faith it is coming... not sure when though.

I hate to say this, but my TA says no, they're not expecting that it will unless the bookings were really poor. I did book before the Dec. date for FD, but I am watching for a friend who might want to go and missed it. I can't even imagine what made them do it this way. I wonder what the numbers of people are who booked FD between BB and the offer that just ended in Dec. compared to the FD that they usually offer in April. Could they be up to a similar number or could they be trying to scale back on the number of FD rooms?

Well we bit the bullet and changed out dates, no relying on anything and booked our first Christmas at Disney!

I am hoping it pops up again and includes the last week in Aug again too. My ENTIRE family has decided to go and this code would be the only one worth it for them. Who knows what's going to happen, but here's hoping

Results are in and the parks including Disneyland were not much better than the year before. Disneyland had the best increase; because, the new World of Color attraction really did well at California Adventure.

Anyway, this leads me to believe that FD will come again for the later half of the year. We all have to be patient. I'm looking for FD in December, myself.

Two years ago, fall and winter FD discounts did not arrive until late summer, early fall. Last year they were very early to give FD in the summer for the winter time.

I'm hopeful. I will say until recently, the only FD period was late summer and early fall due to that time of the year being peak season for hurricanes. This is why that incentive ever got started.

I didn't book free dining either (waiting for room discount instead) but now I'm thinking that maybe I should have. I would think that if it is going to come back, it will be sometime in April when they typically released the free dining dates in the past (before this crazy year when they released it really early!)

my guess would be in April of this year they will announce another free dining deal. That is usually when it happens. We had free dining booked for september but changed it to a room discount.
