Chances for BWV standard view one-bedroom???

Hey there! New to DisBoards but hoping somebody here can give me some insight. We're OKW members who just booked a BWV preferred view studio for January 4-8, 2004, but we're on a waitlist for our first choice BWV standard view one-bedroom. Wish we had the extra 40 points to plunk down on a preferred view one-bedroom, as they're still available!

We are however, thinking about switching to an OKW one-bedroom. We really want to stay at the Boardwalk, as it will be our anniversary and our reception was at the Boardwalk, but we'd also like the one-bedroom for the tub and washing machine/dryer (we're DCL cruising after our WDW stay).

So what do you guys think our chances are of getting the waitlist upgrade?

I have waitlisted for a BW 1BR standard three or four times and have always gotten one. I've done this in September, October and May - never January but my guess is you'll be okay. Enjoy!

I would think pretty good - Jan isn't that busy.

are they through fixing all the standard rooms?

Thanks! I think we'll stick with what we've got for now then and see how things go. I poked around for news on how the remodelling is going, but didn't find anything detailed enough to tell me if the standard view one-bedrooms are done.
