Chance for a BW studio Columbus Day weekend

My DH and I made a last minute decision to go to the Food and Wine festival this fall. We had been thinking about it, then realized we needed to make a reservation at our home resort, the BWV, before the 7 month window opened up. So, when I called yesterday I was suprised when we could only get a studio for the first two nights. We got a 1-bedroom for the last night and are waitlisted for a studio.

We are considering trying to get into BCV at 7 month window for the whole stay, we really hvae no need for a 1 bedroom.

Any input on our chances for the studio or BCV at 7 months?

Because it's larger, I think the chances are better for you at BWV! BCV is also very popular then.

We were thinking of going down for F&W, hopefully the last wk in Oct, but possibly the 3rd wk. (Sat-Sat stay)
Is there any chance of getting any studio at BWV or BCV? I don't really want to do day-by-day in March, because I won't know the wk for sure until May.

If I book a wk at SSR, how does it work for getting on the waitlist with one of the other 2 places? I assume you can't hold multiple reservations unless you have enough points to do that (which we don't)...?

Booked at BWV one day late at the 11 month point for Oct 21 thru the 26 for a studio(standard view) could not get. Got boardwalk view though.
