so my mother decided she may want to eat breakfast in our room one day (totally doable, just bring back from the food court) but she wants mimosas. anyone know if they sell bottles of champagne, full or little ones, in the gift shop where they sell wine? is there any other way to get it? smaller bottles would be best as i highly doubt we would finish it off before heading to the park (buzzed rope drop anyone?:lmao:).

i felt like this was a good board to ask on, didn't think i would get too may hits on family boards, although i am sure some mommies need their mommy juice after a tough day in the parks.:goodvibes

I don't know, but why not just stash a small bottle or two in your checked luggage? We travel with wine every trip (to and from) and have never had a problem.

i thought about that but the carbonation makes me nervous, and if it explodes or breaks it will be a miserable first day. as a general rule of thumb i only pack bottles of booze in my suitcase on the way home, most of the clothes need to be washed then anyway.;)

You should be fine. I've seen Moet & Chandon champagnes along with the wines at most of the resort locations. It'll probably be in the gift shop area or quick service location depending on the resort. No idea on the price, but there's usually a huge upcharge purchasing liquor at the resorts.

As Brocktoon said, most of the gift shop locations at the resorts offer some sort of sparkling wine and other tasty beverages. Epcot offers a wider variety. You should be able to get everything you need on site. If you have a car you can get everything cheaper offsite with a greater variety. . .not everyone needs that. Have fun.
