Chalk. Or Marker?

So, my school and most of the schools in my area use whiteboards and erasable markers for lessons. But I'm curious, do you use chalk boards or whiteboards?
I hate chalkboards btw. xD

I've seen maybe six classrooms with chalkboards since I was in kindergarten. And I've not had a class with only chalkboards, ever.

We're almost totally dry erase here.

I've never gone to a school (well I've never gone to a different school) that uses chalkboards.
I've never seen a full scale one.

about 1 out of 3 class rooms in my school have white boards b/c of the smell and one kid tried 2 get high off of dry-erase markers so they only give them 2 teachers who request dry-erase boards.....

We only have one in the computer lab.
I kind of don't like it much.

Mostly all Whiteboards here. Half the classrooms have white boards in the front and chalkboards in the back. Teachers always use whiteboards, sometimes it smells really bad though. WE used chalkboards in eleentry school and a lil in jr. high.

Smart boards are these really big screens that you hook up to a PC. Basically, you can see the image on the monitor on the smart board. You press your fingers on the smart board to click on stuff.

we have like three smartboards in our school... i dont' really care about them... i didnt know they had a name though either...
