I am wondering how easy it is to get a lounger at the adult pool or satellite falls on the Dream in the afternoon? I have read that the family pools are crowded but are the adult pool areas crowded too? I'm deciding if we would want to do a Palo brunch or not because we would want to be able to hang by the pool on our at-sea day but if chairs are hard to get, we would rather get to the pool early!

Thanks :)

The chairs in the area immediately around the adult pool generally are pretty full on nice sea days. Satellite Falls usually is a bit better as are the deck areas on the sides of the ship right behind Satellite Falls, but those can be very windy. There sometimes are more seats available on the deck area right above the adult pool but those are not "adults only" seats.

Not many deck chairs around the pool. My understanding is that deck 13 above Quiet Cove is adults only...there is a bar there and smoking on one side. There are a lot of loungers by Satellite Falls (adults only) but it can be windy on sea days.

We go to the adult pool right after breakfast and relax until around 11:30. This gives us just enough time to get cleaned up and make it to our 12:30 brunch at Palo.

Good Luck

What time of year are you going? We went in late February, weather was nice and the adult area where always so quiet, no issues with chairs.

As someone said, the chairs that are immediately to the Port side of the pool are the hard ones to get as they are the only chairs around the pool that get sun. If you are good with shade or being a deck above the pool then you can come a little later.

The adult pools are far too small on the Dream and Fantasy. Lounges and chairs fill up almost immediately at the beginning of every day. We choose Satellite Falls for our lounging and never had a problem. Didn't even go in the adult pool as it was wall to wall people. IMO, one of the design flaws on the larger ships.

yeah, the chairs near the pool are almost always full. Usually by older folks knitting or reading (no offense)
We're usually on the top deck trying to ignore the wind. As long as you have a eReader, it;s not an issue

The adult pool is on deck 11 and is an adults only area. Deck 13 also is adults only but there are no loungers in the area that overlooks the pool; the loungers are on the sides back around between the bar area and Satellite Falls. I was referring to the area on deck 12 that overlooks the adult pool that is open to all guests.
