Cha Cha'ers: How much can you make?

I average about 200-250 searches a week. I work mostly at nights and one day on the weekend. It's only about $50 a week. It's plenty for me though!

ChaCha either pays monthly via direct deposit or you have the option of being paid at any time by debit card. There is a fee charged each time you have your earnings put on the debit card.

Do any of you know of other companies like this for Canadians? I just tried ChaCha and it is for the US only.

I just started about a week ago. Not the best time to start, but they were signing up then so I did it. I haven't made much because I was helping DD17 with scholarship applications most of last week and this week, my laptop had a virus. I'll get there though!!

Which level is the best to sign up for? I think I started at Exp...... I am at the point of doing the search u and taking the test... How hard is it?

Hi, I just signed up and was accepted! I hope this helps me with spending money for our upcoming trip. I forgot to add the extras in my budget( such as boarding Otto -my Jack Russel Terror, and gas for the drive)!

I signed up as a generalist I think. I did pick categories and have been getting b2b for the last few times I've been on there. It was great... well, until my computer got the virus....That wasn't a problem of chacha, but it is hindering my doing any chacha!!

I am signed up as an Expeditor, that was the only one it offered.

I also signed up as an Expeditor because it was all that was available. Do they allow you to be "promoted" to the others after a while?

Question: I just signed up and received the confirmation email. It says a txt message has been sent to my phone. Do they send you txt messages all the time? That's gonna drive me nuts!

I found it on the homepage and it says to click here to be a guide.

I was only offered to be a exp too... I have heard it's not the greatest time to join but maybe it will get better?

I think they probably put the link to be a guide for a certain period of time. I didn't see it. But I'll look back later.

ChaCha stopped hiring guides in Oct or Nove, but then opened it up for just a few days about two weeks ago. I would keep checking the site because a lot of guides left after the pay structure was changed and they could decide to hire even more.

Back to the OP, I used to make about $400 a month. With the new pay rate, I only make about $200, but I also don't spend nearly the same amount of time answering questions. I think if I really depended on the money, I would work more hours and would make more money.

i checked that out. So you have to fill in you ss# before you even finish the application to get accepted? I'm a little leary about that. I'm assuming everyone who's signed up for chacha has done this in the past?
