Ok, I JUST had that happen too...someone wants to know about the flap position when a plane takes off...and so I looked on some websites to find information for this person and they said the answer is...and gave me 0 stars...NICE!

Well that wasn't very nice of them. Wonder what the deal is with that? Doesn't seem quite fair that we'd get search requests for stuff we aren't familiar with.

I'm meeting tons of DISboard folks tonight at ChaCha. First June and now another member who visits here about once a week! She's getting ready for a trip to the World next month.

Well I just so happen to train June and I knew her name looked familar. So, I just asked her! LOL The 2nd lady was searching for Disney World; therefore, we started talking about Disney and the DIS came up.

OK, maybe some of you chacha pros could help me.
I still can't download my guide app.
Tried to email them and they kept emailing me the same link over and over.
Everytime I tried to download it kept saying "Unable to download chacha guide application"
I even installed the new version of java.

Anybody else ever had this issue?

Last night I was training someone and they were VERY rude. I was really shocked. The search was for computer viruses and they kept correcting me or telling me I was wrong. Then they told me to "quit delaying" - whatever that means. So I ended up just telling them that what they found was good enough and ended it with them. You can bet they didn't get a good rating from me. It didn't deter me though, I still like to ChaCha.

Stinks when the people are rude and then you know that you are going to get a poor rating! STUPID PEOPLE!!

Has anyone attempted to cash out their balance? I am up to a whopping $10.68...not ready to cash out but I was just wondering about how it works. When I looked at it is says that you need to set up an account with a specific bank...kinda odd! Let me know!

Hope everyone is having fun ChaCha-ing...all I can think of is Bear in the Big Blue House!

Also, I went to the site and clicked on the "how to become a guide" link which basically gives you a feedback form where you pick guide sign up from a drop down menu. I filled that our and asked how to become a guide and got a returned mail message in my email that it couldn't be delivered. How weird! So, maybe they don't want guides right now, who knows.

Well, I tried it again and got the same "can't be delivered" message in my email the next day. Does anybody know how to sign up?

Sometimes I do searches (not training searches), but don't get paid. What's the deal with that? I've been searching the ChaCha help section looking for answers, but can't find anything.

OK, I'm up and rolling as a guide now. It's kind of fun but a little frustrating right now.

Also, I'm still in training on 2 of my keywords I guess and I got this trainer who had a REAL BIG chip on his/her shoulder. Asked me for pics of the Roy Suite and got all annoyed at me when I linked to castaway club telling me that that was disney's island and not pics of the Roy Suite, etc, etc and then I was being so sweet and nice and everything, and got everything this person wanted...they gave me a big 1 out of 5. I was so annoyed.

I feel your pain. I've gotten some real works of art trainers too. They could at least be nice, right? And last night I was ChaCha-ing (I have this visual of me dancing every time I say that ) and got some of the fake search requests others had talked about. I declined those.

Just keep on keeping on. It's really a lot of fun. I got my husband to do it and now he's addicted.

I've been very lucky. I only had one trainer that gave me a problem. What I hate are the searches that sound normal and then turn out to be pranks. I had one where the guy asked me to find a pretty easy fact. I found it quickly and gave him several sites. He comes back listing a couple of different sites with the same information and says "nice try, but this is what I was looking for". Of course he gave me a 0. I know one zero isn't a big deal but it's frustrating. At least I got paid for it.

Anybody know how long until you finish training?

And how come I'm earning money now? I'm up to a dollar something but I haven't done any real searches...only training searches. I'm kind of confused. Is it because I'm out of training on one of my key words?

Is the app constantly freezing up on anyone tonight? I felt awful in my last couple of searches. Everytime I clicked on something it would freeze. Luckily I had understanding trainers.
