My DW and I were at the park last night and some of the rides seemed different. We usually go to the park a couple of times a month, but have our 3.3yo DS with us, so our ride selection is limited. W/o him last night we were able to ride a couple of things we hadn't been on since last October (our anniversary celebration).
What seem different:
In POTC:
There was a holographic pirate flag to the left of the first scene and there was a waterfall in the same area.
In the fallen city, the lady above the dunking well spoke this time "Carlos, don' tell them about the treasure", then a pirate shoot's at her and she screams.
There seems to be a lot more damage (breeched walls) in the city than I remember.
On the Jungle Cruise:
The gorillas in the camp now comes before the safari up a tree and not after.
There piranha in the big finale instead of running the rapids (neat effect btw).
There is a much larger native uprising than I rememer and the native celebration has lost it's lion kill (I miss the old 'O look it's Simba joke)
Trader Sam now has a baby elephant assistant.
In the Haunted Mansion:
Besides the Nightmare overlay (which looks fantastic), there seemed to be a room that I never noticed between the big party scene and the turn, recline and drop to The Graveyard.
In The Graveyard we seemed to be facing right longer than usual and when we flipped back to left there was a giant "Angel" that I don't remember from last year.
It's probably just a combination of a lot of Small World, Toon Town & Autopia visits with a recent onset of gettin' old. But all these new things made it feel like a brand new Disneyland to me. To Matt Q and all of the Imagineers & Cast Members
