Ceremony & reception on different dates - which date?

We are having our ceremony on 9/19/09 and the reception on 11/27/09 (different cities/states). When doing the place cards and favor tags, etc, for the reception, which date do I use????

I am wondering the same thing. We are getting married in disney on 10/2/2010 but the reception at home is on 10/10/2010. Hopefully someone can help us out!

From what I've read, put your ceremony date on everything. Reason being is that's the day you will celebrate as your anniversary and it's the day you actually got married. We looked into this as we're doing an at Holiday (12/20 something!) home reception at U-Maine for all the Maine people who couldn't come to our wedding.

But that's just the old way - you could do something like married 9/19/09, celebrating 11/27/09. It's really up to you!
