Tigger2esq(Renee) & I thought it would be fun to have a pin meet in PA. Harrisburg to be exact.

The place: Renee's house (she said she'd make food yum)
I'm sure I'll be helping with that

The time: Starting 2pm - till the last person leaves

Jen and I are very excited about this meet!! My "Disney Villa" is easy to access--it is right off Interstate 81 in Harrisburg--the state capital. We are planning lots of socializing, some fun games, and of course FOOD! (my husband has told me I make the best hot wings in Central PA...)


There are TWO Disney stores in close proximity as well as HershyPark, Hershey, Lancaster, and Gettysburg Outlet Shopping, Amish Country, Gettysburg Battle Field Tours and MORE! It is a great area to come visit for the weekend!!!

Just a quick note. I am hoping to go to a DIS DVC meet in August at City Island in Harrisburg. What about making both of these the same weekend, it would be easier for me (coming from Rochester, NY) and maybe we can get better turnouts for both by combining them.

Make it a big DIS meet with seperate sessions for DVC and Pin trading, just have the sessions at slightly different times. like the DIS meet from 12-5 and 1-2 have pin trading and 3-4 DVC discussion and the rest mingling and grazing (oops I mean eating )

JudySue and I expect to be chauffering PinTrader Figment to the meet; it is only a two hour drive for us. All we need to know is the address.

I am in touch with the individuals planning the DVC meet in Harrisburg--unfortunately if they are planning it for August --I have exactly ZERO free weekends in August to help host a pin meet. In fact the only dates Jen and I came up with the entire summer were the weekends of July 13 and July 27.

bumpity bump---FYI-- I am working with the folks from the Central PA DVC contingent and we will be making this a joint DIS adventure!! SO Mike I hope to see you there!!!!!

That's great to hear!! Keep me posted and I will try to make it into my plans. If you keep the July 13th date from the first message I will skip the Rhinos home match that day and give my season tickets for that game to a friend.

I know my fiance was excited about it, hopefully the pin bag I ordered from the disney store comes before then. It is on backorder until 6/20! otherwise we will hvae to find another way for her to organize her pins.
