Our electric bills have been atrocious this summer, thankfully it is finally cooling down a little but I've realized we are going to have to replace our central air units. We have 2 units one for upstairs and one down. Depending on the recommendations from the air folks we may just replace the upstairs with a bigger unit and wait on the downstairs.

Has anyone found a good site that reviews Central Air units?

Anyone that does air conditioning have any suggestions?

No help here but THREE units?! Ouch.

I have heard that Trane makes good stuff. You could be brave and ask over at Frisco Online. Those people know a lot about this kind of stuff. I'll PM you.

Just need two units, and maybe can make due with just one. My neighbors just replaced their upstairs unit with a bigger one and they said it helped.

I'm looking over the site and that might have some leads. Thanks!
