I'm sure I was quote around $35 per center piece. It was no way near $70.

Just wanted to respond --- Our centerpieces were just as you described, the floating candles with flower petals. They were only about $14/table and we also put additional small votives around the bowl. It was really pretty and not that pricey compared to even the small floral centerpieces.

Oh marne thank you for responding. That makes me feel better! 14 dollars is very reasonable. Do you have pictures of what you had at your wedding?

I have seen on the stvs site a girl (can't find it now ) who had her reception at the gf. for her centerpieces she used these big dramtic 6 holder candelabras w/ rosepetals scattered around the bottom...it was gorgeous!

Has anyone heard or seen these? If so anyone know how much renting these runs plus the petals.....it's gotta be MUCH cheaper than flowers and would go great with our beauty and the beast theme. thanks everyone!

P.S- you really cannot go wrong w/ floating candles, votives and shells (a mirror underneath looks great too) the look is timeless and I am sure you all could do that on your own! I read above that someone was going to take a picture for the florist...what a great idea! that way it will be exactly how you want- good luck
