Does anyone know if you can bring in your own centerpieces at Living seas or do we have to get them thru Disney Floral?

I was under the impression that you had to use Disney Floral for in park events - but that could be wrong, there are plenty of ladies who have had their receptions at The Living Seas. I am at Ariels which is an option if you can not use your own centerpieces and you need to save money. ANother tip - your bridesmaid bouquets in a vase on each table or use asile decor on tables ---- reuse reuse that is what I am doing!

HI there. We are having our reception at the LS in Dec. We made our own centerpieces. We did ask Disney floral to add the floating candles and a bit of greenery to the them. If you bring your own centerpieces and don't have Disney do anything to them, you will be charged a set up fee. Ask your EM. :thumbsup2

A set-up fee MAY be added. If your table decor is more than 3 pieces per person at the table you'll be charged. For example, you have table cards, 6 votive or tealights, and 1 favor a person, the catering crew can set that up with your place settings. Talk to your planner, they can describe it better than me!

I just confirmed my reception at LS. Can anyone tell me what they are doing for Centerpieces for there. Favor ideas?

We had our planning session last month and we are having three cylinders with blue lights emitted from them with a floating rose. The blue light will look awesome against the "under the seas" theme of the Living Seas. Disneys florist is doing it and it was very cost effective. I was very surpised and happy with the final florist cost.
