If youre looking for a last minute fun break, I have just booked a great value week (fri 28/8-fri 4 sept) at a Center Parcs in Holland. I have it on good authority that the Dutch children are already back at school.
We did a different village in Holland in October last year and really enjoyed it. We are going to Het Meerdal this time. Two theme parks that we havent been to are within an hour too (one of them is Movieland in Germany).
Today's booking cost us the grand total of 628e including our villa for 4, linen and 2 adult bikes. Children under 10 eat free at this time too. My rough calculations cost this at around £550
