Going to Disneyland in May and plan to get max pass. Just wondering if anyone has had problems using their Telus easy roam data plan in Disneyland.

We have Telus and we had no problems - we noticed though that each day almost we had a different carrier in the U.S. as our "assigned carrier" for Telus while there but it was great and honestly the MP did not add a lot of data to our plan.

We've always had good mobile calling and data service in America. If you have any issues with your cellular data (not working, or killing your battery life), try a different carrier: Verizon, ATT, T Mobile, etc. We switched from one supplier to another and had no issues thereafter. Be sure to get e roaming plan before you go!

What’s e roaming?

We have Rogers roaming and don’t have problems. DL wifi is very spotty.

I *think* that might have been a typo and it should have read "be sure to get a roaming plan".

Lol, thought it was some kind of new roaming! Today we took a day trip across the border for a Trader Joe’s run, go check out local mall, buy Costco gas, $3.05/gallon in Washington. Have dinner at Olive Garden!

While we were at the mall, I went into AT&T store to inquire about a month plan. I was quoted $45. I forgot how much data, but it was enough. Plus unlimited voice and text. Tempting. Since Rogers practically doubled roaming from $50 Max in one billing period to $90 o_O

I always get DH to do the conversion when it comes to L/CAD$ and Gal/US$...I still can't get my head around the L to Gal conversion!
Almost 4 ltr to a gallon. So I just divide by 4 and figure it’s a touch more, lol. Technically it’s 3.78 L to a gallon.

I am at DLR now and the last 2 days the wifi has been pretty good (I was expecting much worse). It drops often but I’ve been able to use it quite often since I turned off all my data. We use DH’s phone that had a north american plan with Telus as backup and we had no issue with the roaming (was more difficult at Sequoia NP).

My son had much better success with the WiFi at DLR than the rest of us - he has a Google Pixel phone and he was able to be connected almost the whole time he was in the parks where it was very spotty for the rest of us on our iPhones.
