Cell phone etiquette test

Got a 92. I never could understand folks that had converstions on cell phones in public restrooms.

For us though, our cell phones are our only phones. If my cell rings and it is my son's school, for example, and I'm in a meeting, I leave the meeting and answer the phone. I think what is and isn't "rude" will evolve as we eventually get rid of land lines.

86 and to think I thought I knew how to control myself;)

I got an 87. I rarely even use mine. Most of the time it's turned off and very few people even have the number.

I scored an 80!
I know I can be more obnoxious than that!

I loathe cel phones. Lets see how i do....

I scored a 99. The only one I said was maybe okay was sending/reading text messages in business meetings. Obviously if you have major buisness pending it's okay to send/ read text messages.

I got a 65, which is funny b/c if you saw my cell phone bill you would laugh. I use about 2 minutes a month. I think the reason I scored so low is b/c I said I don't make any changes to the ringer on my phone in a lot of public places. With a daughter in daycare, my cell is never turned off, esp. if I go out to lunch. I need to be reachable all day.

I thought I was doing good with 80 until I saw all the 90's. Sorry for being rude and having somewhat bad cell phone etiquette that I need to brush up on!!! :D

I scored a 77 - but that's because I said I left my phone on in a lot of public places - like sporting venues, etc. Now the only sproting venues I go to are HS football games and I do leave the phone on in case of a family emergency or if it's raining and they dismiss the band/dance line early and my DD needed to let me know that she could ride home with me.

I do NOT take calls when standing in line at the grocery store or at the bank - I will let it ring or reach down and shut the phone off - and then finish my transaction and go outside and call the person back.

We have a family-owned small business and I also said that I take phone calls when in conference with emplyers - but only because it's family and usually there's a problem with the printer, or one of the sales people.
