My family has Verizon as our cell phone carrier and looking to switch. Does anyone have Sprint or T-Mobile? Have you been happy with them, any issues?
It's all location dependent. I don't know anyone who uses Sprint or T-Mobile. Most people who use Verizon complain about it. Most people have AT&T around here because it's better than Verizon.I don’t know anybody who uses Sprint or T-Mobile. Most people use Verizon around here. Others have AT&T but it’s not as good as Verizon.
Was just coming on here to post something about cell phone services. We currently have AT&T. We have had it for many years. But I am starting to get tired of paying the crazy prices for our phones. The rest of my family is still locked in because they have newer phones. But I have been sitting on an upgrade for over a year and haven't done anything because I have been contemplating on trying out one of the prepaid cell phone services like Boost Mobile, Mint Mobile (how can you not look at it when Deadpool owns it, haha), or Cricket. Anyone have any experiences with those type of services.
.I'm in the northeast and have T-Mobile for personal and Verizon for work. I don't notice much of a difference in cell service from either. As far as customer service goes, I can't really speak on Verizon but Sprint/T-Mobile has always done a good job for me when issues or questions arise. My family has Verizon as our cell phone carrier and looking to switch. Go to https://www.whistleout.com/ to find the best plan for you. I use AT&T Prepay on my iPhone and it's been great. My DD uses a Google Pixel and it has also been flawless. I have my account set up for autopay, but pay early with gift cards which saves me a few dollars a month in taxes and fees. They are also running a special of $300 per year for 16GB per month of data. I keep on meaning to change to that plan! Maybe next month.
Exactly. It depends on where you live. Corporate switched all 64 locations to AT&T to save money. They also stopped moving two way radios from old company cars to new ones. AT&T has huge coverage holes in the Sierra Nevada mountains which was dangerous because our crews spend a lot of time in the snow during the winter. Came to a head when crews discovered how to force their AT&T phones onto the Verizon system, which caused huge charges to corporate. Last I heard we are the only location allowed to switch back to Verizon, and they started installing two way radios in new cars again. Boiled down to a safety issue. It's all location dependent. Where are you located if you don’t mind sharing?I had verizon and ATT and the price they charge is insane. I switched to tmobile and couldn't be happier. Pay 70.00 a month for 2 lines unlimited everything and free netflix. No issue with it working anyplace at all plus traded in my old iphone for a brand new one for free.

Thanks! I just checked TMobile for our area (Central Mass.) and there are too many dead zones unfortunately. Looks like Verizon is best for us.Long Island, NY
I need a hotspot for our RV. A group we belong to uses the ATT network. It has unlimited data with speeds up to 25mb for $69. Obviously it's dependent on how many people are tying up the towers, but they don't throttle back after a certain amount of time. I have been using my phone to hotspot when needed for years, but that's the problem... I've had the phone for years (2014). It's really giving me fits lately, aside from age I think it's also starting to fill up with data. Apps are getting problematic, etc. It's all location dependent.
