I think her point was about her million dollars being ultimately meaningless in the face of such a vast need? Or that Larry King shouldn't be talking about her million dollars when there are still people who don't even have water to drink?

She was very sincere in her remarks, I thought.

I think what she was upset about is that the money we are donating now is not helping to get the people who are trapped in their houses. she wants people to get in boats and rescue them. She didn't want to get credit for her money at that point, she just wants something done because people are starving and dying. I think she was very sincere too.

Don't like her music but that is nice sentiment of hers. I also am with her. It is all nice and good that we have gotten all the people out of the superdome and the convention center but are there people still trapped in their attics and in their homes? I also heard that there are still the same 1700 patients trapped in the hospitals. We really need to get to these people before it is too late. Kudos to Celine for both the money and the caring.

Count me among her fan club. IMO, she's got the most amazing and powerful voice of anyone I've ever heard. I used to give that honor to Barbra Streisand, but Celine blows her out of the water.
