So I read where Jon Bon Jovi went to Disney recently...
Anyone see him while he was there?

Has anyone seen any famous people or celebrities while at WDW???

Where can one find out if a celeb is going to be at WDW during their stay?
I wanna hide in the bushes and stalk them as they enjoy their vacation!!! :smooth:
Just kiddin - but I would like to take pictures....

Theres a post about seeing famous people at Disney.. if you search for it, it should come up. There's new posts on it all the time. Theres been a lot of sightings of celebs at Disney!

I was in Disneyworld the last time Princess Diana visited with her children.

Until I saw it in the magazine we didn't know who was there. We did see a ton of security but unfortunatly never did see her.

When they book their hotels, they never use their real name for fear of someone searching them out.

I would think they would stay at one of the higher end Deluxe Resorts or DVC maybe?

But who knows.

I was at Disney 2 weeks ago, and in Epcot at the front of World Showcase literally "ran" into ESPN's Kenny Mayne. Nobody else even noticed him. I got to meet him, shake his hand and talk to him for about 30 seconds.

Nice guy, but funny enough, his personality in person is EXACTLY as dry as it it on TV.

Oh, he also was the guy who was the first to be kicked off of "Dancing with Celebrities".

We happened to be at the Sci Fi Dine In at the same time as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and his son, then wife, and another band member. We had an early dinner, they had an later lunch. My son had noticed the group entering and when I checked us in, there was a huge amount of "activity" going back to the seating area. I ignored it and put us on the seating list. We were a party of six so it was perfect. In-laws (including brother-in-law), son, husband, me. The Cast Member announces our name and I start leading us towards the seating. I'm in the lead, husband is behind me, son behind him, rest of the family later. We turn the corner to the seating area.

And Steven Tyler and his son are turning the corner to go the opposite way to the bathroom. I don't know how the Cast Member did it but he dodged. I didn't. I still blame the lighting. The son managed to be shorter than me and didn't even break stride. Steven Tyler, however, just about got knocked over by me. I'm five foot nothing and probably weigh more than him so it would have been a fair "fight". But at the last second, we both moved out of the way and he continued on and so did we. Needless to say, that was quite a dinner! Mr. Tyler and his party were seated at a car just a few away from us and no one ever bothered him for an autograph. He and his family and friend sat there, watched the screen and had a good meal. The servers all knew he was there and said to basically leave him alone. Which everyone did. There was no "star" thing going on at all.

Basically, when a "star" is at Disney World, they are there to escape. If I ever see another one, I'll leave them alone (and will avoid knocking them over!).

We've had a few that I know of at the YC/BC. Some stay under their name and some stay under a different name, it just depends on the person. I've only encoutered a few. Of course as a previous poster mentioned we treat them just like any other guest, they are on vacation and certainly don't need CM's asking them for autographs in addition to Guests. One of my favorite encounters was a few weeks ago we hosted a small conference for ESPN's MLB crew. Being a huge baseball fan I thought it was awesome meeting the guys from Baseball Tonight. Most of the female CM's didn't even know who they were so it was basically me and one other guy who were excited about it.

I saw Bruce Jenner at MK about 3-4 weeks ago. He was in a group of 4, I guess wife, sister-in-law and daughter or neice. They were touring with a plaid-vested VIP guard. I assumed he was there because of ESPN Weekend.

We saw Bruce Jenner a few years ago at AK. I wouldn't have noticed him if someone hadn't mentioned it was him but he looked like he had make -up on...and he is really tall!

Yep. George H. and Barbara and one of Jeb's daughters in May 04 in Epcot!

I walked past Susan Lucchi, I think that her name, she was sexy

We were there at the same time. We saw her at MGM going into the old Hunchback of Notre Dame show. It was pretty exciting to be there as she and her family came in just before the show started.

About 2 weeks ago my daughter and I went on TOT. With our group was a Red Plaid (private tour guide) with a nice looking young guy. He sat next to me on the ride. I asked my daughter if she knew who he was and she didn't. But I got a good look at him. Well, fast forward to that Sunday night, after we returned home, I was watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition, when low and behold, he was one of the designers. I called my daughter, she turned it on, and agreed with me that it was him. :rotfl:

My boys and I were taking a shortcut between Tomorrowland and Main Street (I think that's a noodle restaurant there?), and we passed John Stamos who was with someone "official looking". Looked like they were in a hurry. DS (now 12) and I just stopped and looked at each other and said "HEYYYYYY..."

BTW, he's a lot thinner in real life than he is on TV. But then again, it could have been because he and Rebecca had split up not long before that.
