Celebrity Sightings

Not at Disney, but back in the day there was a park called Circus World which was about 20 minutes from WDW. I was about 15, so my sister would have been about 9, and she was the biggest Michael Jackson fan (though I don't think she would admit it anymore....). Well, MJ happened to be at the park on a day that we were when it was not at all crowded (probably why it is not there anymore!) and was going on one of the rollercoasters. She just HAD to go on it because he was, so I went on it with her. We were in the seat right behind him. She was so small though (small family, I am only 5'1"), that I actually had to hold on to her because she kept slipping under the bar that held you in! I think the memory to her was actually more terrifying than exciting.

Brett Favre, his wife and 2 girls where at WDW the last week in Feb. They had a VIP CM. Deanna just got over chemo and she wanted to spend time with her family before she started radiation. It's amazing how a Green Bay tv station keeps track of their where -abouts. Anyway, I was impressed that Deanna insisted on going to a Magical Place to spend quality time with her family. That is what she told the tv stations.

We saw Kelly Ripa too. December 5th we sat a couple of tables from them at O'hana for Breakfast. We got pictures too, they are in this computer somewhere.

We were there with my two year old. We took turns doing Stitches Great Escape. I was talking to one of the cm's about Kelly on Stitch the day before. She had just got all dolled up for filming. They asked her if she would like a vip seating for the show. She went in sat down (she picked her seat). As it was starting they told her there might be a light mist of water or a splash. She got a little nervous. Let's just say she picked the wettest seat in the house. She was soaked and had to go back to hair and make up. She was not happy. We then heard her talking about it on the show when they got back to NY.

SO saw Bill Russell at AKL when we were there in 2001. He said that Bill's limo pulled up, and they made eye contact and Bill smiled at him as he was getting out of the limo. SO didn't talk to him or bring attention to him, but SO did come running to me giggling like a school girl telling me about it. I didn't have a clue who Bill Russell was at the time, but I did get to see his back as he was being wisked away.
