Celebrity Sightings

My wife saw George Lucas and his entourage exiting Test Track back in February 2005 while she was waiting for me and the kids to exit the attraction. He was surrounded by CM's and what looked to be his family.

I wish I was there as I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I would have loved to as him what he was thinking with Jar Jar :confused3

We also saw Mark McGuire while waiting to get on the Kilomajori (sp?) Safari several years ago. He was just standing in line with everyone else with a hat down low on his head. No one even noticed him.

We saw Erik Estrada at the candy shop on Main Street this past Novmeber. He seemed very nice and actually posed with few people.

We saw NBA great Rick Barry in line at Test Track a couple years ago and Chris Evert (the tennis player) in the wave pool at BB a number of years ago. My wife still doesn't believe me on that one.

When we were at DW in June 2004 my oldest son, my dad and sister saw Hulk Hogan and his family at MGM. :)

In Oct 2004, my DH and I were walking through WS during F&W festival and we walked past Andrew Dan Jumbo from TLC's While You Were Out. He was talking to some other people and we stopped to get a photo with him. I wouldn't go up to him but DH did and had his picture taken with him. I believe he was with his mother.

Also, in August 1994, we saw Mary Lou Retton taping something in the grass in front of Universe of Energy.

Everytime we go we see the greatest celebrities of all........ ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo !!!

When we were there in Dec of 04 we saw Kelly Ripa and her hubby Mark and all 3 kids. We were waiting for our ps at Brown Derby and I took a double take. She is soooooo tiny! Even our waitress came up to us and said 'Did you see how tiny Kelly is?' It was the first week of Dec. On Christmas Day I saw her on the WDW Christmas Day parade, so I was wondering if maybe she was there to film it. I am not sure because you would think I would have heard about it being filmed while we were there!

Micheal J Fox was there over Easter with his family. Did anyone see him?
I WISH that I was there.. but I believe it was Entertainment Weekly shortly after that trip had a picture of him and his family on Splash Mountain. Very cool!

On our December 2004 trip we saw Mark Consuelos in MK because Kelly Ripa was filming the Christmas parade. Saw Kelly and Regis on Main Street, Marly Maitlin in Spoodles, and Jim Caviezel in Epcot, he was narrating Candlelight Processional that night, but saw him with his family. I didn't want to bother any of them though so I didn't say anything, just looked.

John Ratzenberger (Cliff, the mailman) from "Cheers" was on our Disney Wonder cruise. There with his wife and 2 children. Spoke to a crowd of people in the Walt Disney theater on ship. Very nice man!

So I guess the book at the Brown Derby doesn't lie! I ate there with my daughter March 23rd and Michael J Fox had signed the guest book a half hour before we arrived. Damn! That would have been a real honor. He's a genius!

I saw Mariah Carey in MK filming for the Christmas parade back in December (along with a ton of other people). It was really cool to see her but I paid the $ to see the parks and enjoy the rides. After a minute I was like "ok, that's enough, lets go ride Space Mountain!".

LOL!

I felt the same way with the upcoming Regis and Kelly shows at WDW. I was all excited I was going to be there and started sending off for tix, then I was like...wait a minute! I only live a few hours from where they film regularly in Manhattan (and tickets aren't terribly hard to get) and I'm flying across the country to see them? LOL.

Priorities, priorities!

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake - they came into a private room right next to us when we were eating.
Justin ohhhhhh I may be 30 but he is hot.................. puckerup:

The only time (other than Super Soap weekend) that I ever saw a celebrity at WDW was several years ago. We were eating lunch at CRT (only then I think it was still called King Stephan's) and we were sitting in the center section of the room. I had been looking around taking in the scenery and the other diners. There were about 10-12 people in our group so we were seated at a large table. I looked up to see a couple and a girl walking by on their way out. The woman was wearing a baseball cap and kinda had her head bowed, but since I was sitting her face was easy for me to see. As she walked by I couldn't help blurting out "Hey, that's Glen Close!" then repeated it to the others in our party. She just kinda looked at me and smiled then kept walking... maybe a little faster. I felt really stupid, because she obviously didn't want to be noticed, but I was just surprised and didn't think. I then remembered seeing her and her family sitting at one of the tables by the window and she had been sitting with her back to the room. I would hope that if I ever saw another celebrity in the future I would use a little more discretion and maybe just smile, instead of calling attention to them so that they can enjoy their vacation like everyone else, but I learned that when caught off guard it's sometimes hard to do.

I havent seen any celebrities but I would only actually care to see...Dan Marino, George Strait or Kevin Costner....All 3 are kinda heroes of mine....Also Isiah Thomas would be cool to meet....Oh my dad just dropped by does that count....to me it does

Of course seeing Pamela Anderson, Alyssa Milano, Shania Twain, Eliza Duschku, Keira Knightly, Brittany Spears, Catherne Zeta Jones or Ashley Judd would be ok too...... :rotfl:

:cheer2: I have my picture from RnR with Doug Flutie and his wife. I just happened to weasel my way into the same car! I also met Kurt Warner when we got off the ride. He was there filming for the "I'm going to Disney World" commercial. We were in WDW the same time that the Super Bowl was in Tampa. :cheer2:
