Oh please, in another thread you are complaining about friviouls lawsuits.

This is a celebrity who puts himself out there for public consumption. You want to act? Fine. There are pleantly of people who support themselves as actors w/out the celebrity. They might not be multi-millionairs but they aren't jumping on Oprah's couch or debating Matt Laurer either. He paraded his relationship, and Katie's pregnancy around for the camera's and his benefit. Now suddenly, when it doesn't benefit him, he's slient about the baby and his relationship.

No other celebrity sues like crazy over every rumor or negative word. Richard Gere has been the subject of gay rumors, he hasn't sued. Same with John Travolta. Cruise has a huge reputation for being lawsuit crazy. Would have celebrity magazines have been put out of business long ago if everything they wrote was made up. Do I think the tabloids print rumors and exaggerate, sure. But I don't think people sit around and think of things to make up about celebrities just to sell magazines.

I don't think people were talking about the National Enquirer. I was talking about magazines like People, US Weekly, OK and shows like Entertainment Tonight and stuff on E!. These are all media that stars and their publicists cooperate with.

I think they are reporting on different rumors and each may have heard different things. I think they use a lot of hersay and conjecture but I don't think they sit around willy-nilly making up whatever.

An frankly that is the price of fame. Don't take the millions and live a high profile life if you don't like the concequences. There are lots of starts that live somewhat low profile lives. Yes they will promote their movie and do the junket but that's it. Look at the difference between the way Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie handled her pregnancy and child's birth and the way Tom and Katie handled theirs.

My background is in PR and thank godness Tom 'fired' his sister and brought back some of his old people because the year without them tanked his image.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes fans may be hearing wedding bells — or maybe the sound of a cash register. The couple reportedly have hammered out a prenuptial agreement that will give Holmes as much as $33 million and that will pave the way for the two to get hitched.

The happy couple and their lawyers have come up with a contract that will give Holmes $3 million a year up to $33 million for each year that she is married to Cruise, as well as a palatial home in Montecito, California, according to Life & Style Weekly. If the marriage lasts longer than eleven years, the contract becomes void and California's community property law kicks in — giving Holmes half of Cruise's rather sizeable fortune.

When contacted by The Scoop, Cruise's rep declined to comment, but an "insider" told the mag that Holmes's parents had been trying to get her out of the relationship — but have changed their minds and now want her to marry Cruise. “If she walks now, Tom will fight her for custody of [daughter Suri], and Katie can’t outlast him in court,” an insider told the mag. “She knows she needs to marry him to get the money to fight him for custody, if it comes to that.”

It is waaaay too obvious feeling to a woman when one nursing bra cup is hanging open. Some of you gals know what I mean.

That little silky tank is sooo wrong to wear for first time nursing moms.
They leak too much for something that silky and thin. After two or three babies, maybe you can get away without leakage. Don't ask, trust me.

So I have to agree that it was staged.

And besides. Someone said it already...this looks like a 45 year old woman. That was my first impression. While I was scrolling down the page, I thought it was someone's siggie picture.
Even if this was her, she does not look like her usual self.

I totally agree. A first time nursing mom wouldn't be wearing that top. You HAVE to wear those nursing pads, which would be clearly visable in a shirt like that, she would still leak through that, which means her jacket would be CLOSED. Besides, WHERE'S the baby? She wouldn't even be wearing a nasty old nursing bra out without the baby. I'm not a millionare and I wouldn't even wear a nursing bra without the baby around. AND I don't even believe that is HER. It looks NOTHING like her and it looks like an older woman.

OKay, one more thing. It sure says a lot about their relationship that he has to pay her 3 million a year to marry him.

I mean come on, I know everyone feels bad for her...but it was her choice. She's just plain stupid....unless of course she really DID have his baby, and her pregnancy happened before a real "relationship" and he forced her to stay with him because of the whole custody thing...

Not sure what photo you were looking at--but my stretch marks look exactly like hers (if they are real) in the photo where she is conveniently exposed. Just a smattering of little iddy biddy things (so nice of my oldest--1 week overdue and that was when I got 'em. Murphy's law sucks!)

Maybe it's just my screen...but in the large picture, they look round. In the blown up picture it's just all blurry. Mine look nothing like what's on her. I got all mine mid pregnancy with my oldest...thanks to my stupid belly button ring.

I see no reason why Tom would automatically win custody of the child. The only reason for saying that is because he has so much money. Since when is money the deciding factor in custody cases. It's not like Katie is dirt poor and on welfare. All she has to do is say she suffered from PPD and Tom denied her any medication.

I think she's trashy too, but I don't think this was a trashy move at all. They knew they would be hounded by the paparazzi for the first pics, so they arranged the deal and the money went to charity instead of a sleazy photographer.
