Trump said he had to give the ladies a chance to win, that why he sent LaToya home but, why didn't he do that for the guys with Gary about 4 weeks ago.

At this point there isn't anyone that I really like. Marlee threw LaToya under the bus too. LaToya helped Marlee by giving her Michael's shirt and that is how Marlee thanks her.

I hate how they edit this show, we didn't see the other photo shoots for the ladies. What did Marlee do? They didn't show her or Hope's project. Star lost yet she got to stay and LaToya did nothing wrong and got fired. That pompous a$$ Trump sits there and says "now I've given the women's team a chance to win". What? A team doesn't win the whole thing, one person does. Makes no sense at all at this point in the game.

I think Star will win because Trump wants her to win, just like Joan Rivers won because Trump wanted her to win. Otherwise Star would be gone. The women have never really worked well together and from the previews it is only going to get worse.

This is the first time I have watched this show from the beginning and I will probably finish watching this season. I doubt if I ever watch again.

Star should have gone. She was the PM. LaToya had it right but they wouldn't listen to her.

If it's not Star, I can see a John Rich and Marlee finale. They've raised the most money.

I think too many decisions are being based on what will make good tv in the weeks to come - not who deserved to go based on the task.

Exactly. And I get mad at myself for watching this manipulated drivel, when Trump most likely knows from the beginning who he wants to see at the end.

Star should have been gone, but more people will watch to see Star and NeNe go at it (and Trump will get more Presidential TV viewers)

NeNe still annoys the heck out of me and I would like to see her gone except at some point I can envision some interesting fireworks between her and Starr. I actually agreed with the judges last night - I didn't like either presentation. Wouldn't have enticed me to spend the big bucks for a Trump hotel room!

I'm not surprised that self serving jack kept Starr. He likes drama even if he has to eat his words, which he does a LOT.

Nene lost me when she picked on LaToya but got me back last night. Now I can't wait till she stomps that hoity Starr. I'm sure Johnny Cochran is rolling in his grave and Barbara Walters is shaking her head in shame.

LaToya did her own PR some real justice with this show. Up until now I saw her as just STRANGE (we're about the same age and I've thought this for YEARS) but now I almost feel sorry for her. She was very kind to NeNe and even though she appeared immature and "useless" you can almost understand why.

Changing her image in the public eye will be a boon to her career, no doubt, unlike Dionne and Starr... I don't think either of them care, though.

My son walked in while the show was on. Eric came on the screen and his comment was, "Donald Trump finally found someone uglier than he is." I informed the boy that this was his son, so it wasn't hard to find him.

I'm agreed that Star should have been the one to go. I'm thinking that the ladies were thinking that they need to win some, so letting the 'weaker' player be lost was the wisest thing to do. Only time will tell.

I said this a couple weeks ago, which no one paid attention to:

Star Jones was on the Joy Behar show yesterday.

She asked Star, "How was it calling Donald, 'Mr Trump, Mr. Trump,' all the time when you really know him as Donald? Didn't you attend his wedding?"

Star: (paraphasing) "Yes, and he attended MY wedding."


I think we now know who our next Celebrity Apprentice will be. Star & Trump are good friends.

Trump is also very good friends with Joan Rivers and Piers Morgan. . .

Star wanted to present an argument last night, right away to defend herself, and Trump told her to keep her mouth shut. He didn't want her to mis-speak the way Mark McGrath did, in which he'd be forced to fire her.

The one time she did say, "I was responsible for the concept," Trump asked a very soft, "So I should fire you?"

If people pay very close attention, Trump ALWAYS telegraphs what he thinks of the players. Marlee knew Trump wasn't getting rid of Star. Marlee is an excellent strategist. SHE is the one that handed Trump the reason to pick someone else and he jumped on it. "If we look at the team going forward. . ."

Marlee picked LaToya, as Trump isn't ready to give up the centerfold bunny yet. However, he did say, "Why LaToya over Hope? Hope is pretty quiet and sits in the back?" <-- Hint! Hint! Telegraphing he thinks Hope is ultimately not leadership material and will go in an upcoming week. )

He said the same thing about Gary a couple weeks ago:

Trump even said Gary is not one of the strongest players (in Trump speak, that means he WILL go at some point.)

Star knew Trump might keep Hope still. That's why she didn't pick her to go into the boardroom. There was a chance that Trump would have fired either of them. BUT, they both would have ganged up on her. That's why she picked NeNe. NeNe and LaToya had prior bad history. Star is a brilliant strategist from being a lawyer. That's why Trump likes her and why they are friends. She probably thinks the closest to the way he thinks while cutting deals.

Marlee, too, is is a great strategist. She knows how to play this game. She must have watched for a long time. She aligned herself as Star's friend early on. When Trump could have picked Gary to go home over Richard Hatch, Marlee spoke up on Gary's behalf. At the time, it seemed like she was friends with Gary. But, in hindsight, she helped KEEP the guy who ultimately created more chaos to the men's team, than Hatch would have. She also got rid of a better strategist, by getting rid of Hatch.

I, too, am surprised Trump has not switched up the teams by now. He usually does this when the teams become so uneven.

I think it may possibly come down to Star, Marlee and John Rich. John is more straightforward, not the strategist that the two women are. But, he raised a lot of money and is a dedicated, hard worker.

Nene should have gone after Star big time about how all the decisions were hers and as PM she should take the fall. She could have sold it to Trump. No she is going to have Star to get rid of and it won't be easy. Star was very vunerable this time she should have taken her out.
