Has anyone ever spotted any celebrities while at any of the parks? I'm talking about hollywood celebs not Mickey and crew ;)

Also any celeb faces on Leave a Legacy?

Just wondering...I know they go...just wonder when.

Hi,

We got to see Drew Carey outside of "sounds dangerous".
This was back in April 2001.
Kind of funny cause we were just exiting the show with
a kazillion other people and only about half a dozen of us recognized him.

Last fall as we were checking out of WL, we saw Kevin Weisman, who plays Marshall on "Alias." He and a couple of guys were checking in. I don't know if he counts as a full-fledged celebrity, but I know him from a couple of other shows and recognized him immediately. He wasn't being approached or anything, possibly because he was on his cell phone most of the time. I think he might have been there as part of the Mission: Space grand opening, because it took place the following day, or possibly as a guest on the Wayne Brady show, which was filming at Epcot that week.

My husband and I are easily star-struck (when we vacation in Los Angeles, we go to movie premieres just to see who's there), and it was a nice way to end our vacation.

Robert Urich of Spenser For Hire fame was sitting in front of us at CBJ in MK in Dec 00. His wife was one of the Von Trapp girls in The Sound of Music sorry her name slips my mind. She was with him also. Sadly he passed away 2 yrs later after a long battle off and on with cancer. He seemed like a very nice guy.
We saw Phyllisa Rashad from the Cosby show once. She was doing CP at the time. Yolanda Adams, a gospel singer and Ben Vereen, of Roots fame. Saw them also at CP. Also saw Dan Tyminski at Pecos Bill. He is a member of Allison Krauss band.

I have seen several famous people, but I figure they are just like us, on vacation and want to be left alone so I do just that. But it is pretty cool when you have a chance encounter.

You saw Kevin Bacon in person and you're on this message board and now I'm on this message board so that means that I have a Bacon degree of 2!

no celebs - but then I was really people watching so who knows. My husband walked up to the tiles at Epcot and says' that looks like the kid from Nsync. So i look and yep it was the whole band. LOL that's the first thing he saw.

I'm guessing you watch the Wayne Brady show? LOL
6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon! lol lol lol

This was a long time ago but I'll never forget it. I was eating in 50s Prime Time with my family when I was about 7...so this was 1992! My brother (4 at the time) started screaming, "Mommy mommy there's two michelles!!!" We all looked and saw half the cast of Full House sitting not even two tables away. I saw (dont know all their full names) Stephanie, Mary Kate and Ashley, Joey, and Rebecca. I can remember my parents telling me not to stare but I couldn't help it...Full House was such a big show back then. A couple years later, I saw Eddie from Family Matters in Typhoon Lagoon....and one year we were at Fulton's Crab House and saw Lynn Swann (football player).

I saw Andy Dick walking around MGM during Feb break 2001. Rosie O'Donnell was there taping her show. We heard her talking while on line for Fantasmic. She was taping at the Beauty and the Beast theatre.

That's it for me though.

While Animal Kingdom may be the park that I have spent the least time in it's been star-studded.

I saw Hollywood Hulk Hogan there two years ago with his family. They had just gotten off Kali River Rapids and were at the kiosk looking for dry stuff to buy. Saw Sinbad the comedian in Dinoland too.

Shared a ride on Goofy's Barnstormer with Elizabeth McGovern (the one with -- hey KEVIN BACON -- in She's Having a Baby). She was there with her family and a Disney assistant who walked them onto the ride from the exit.

Saw Steve Garvey at Disneyland when I was a knee-high. The only celeb that I actually spoke to was a pretty obscure one unless you know football -- Keith Byars. He had just left the Dolphins (had most of his years with the Eagles) and he was at the Main Street ice cream parlor with his wife and son.

My wife and I recognized him right away so we started up some small talk about how Jimmy Johnson had robbed him at Miami (by ending his consecutive reception streak). We spoke for quite a bit. I'm guessing he doesn't get recognized often. At the end he signed our son's Disney autograph book, and that's sort of cool to have this book with all of these Disney characters and -- bamm -- there's a football player.

And, my wife and I were actually on tv with a celebrity. We were walking around Disney-MGM in front of Great Movie Ride where a small crowd (of 2-3 dozen people) is building. We go over and it's Nancy Kerrigan. This was just after the whole Tonya Harding deal where she got the Disney sponsorship and was doing a segment for an upcoming tv special. At one point the director yells cut, asks for fresh faces and singles my wife and I out to the front of the pack. So we were part of Nancy's posse I guess -- on national tv.

My mom remembers seeing Nancy Kerrigan on TV when she was there and she can remember Nancy saying she didn't like Disney World and it was the "stupidest and most embarassing place" she's ever been. Well I don't like her anymore..she must not be human.

I saw Drew Carrey that day in MGM too! He held up our line at Tower and we saw him afterwards and barely recofgnized him cuz he didn't have his glasses on....

and yes, last semester, LLCool J and Destiney's Child were at Disney for a special event they were performing at for Tom Joyner at MGM

and I was working one day talking to a guest, and Julie Andrews walked by.....I didn't expect it, so I actually became speechless and had to stop talking to the guest for a sec and regain my composure.....the next day I met her at her book signing in MGM

We saw Wayne Brady this past December while he was there filming for the Christmas parade.
