Celebrities and the blinding teeth

Why oh why are so many celebrities getting this horrid veneers put on their teeth that make them look huge and are blindingly white????? They look absolutely awful.

The latest one I say was Dr Phil. Caught a few minutes of hus show in Fri and his new teeth are soooo distracting. There are several other celebs that have had this done in the past couple of years. When you see them all you see is teeth. It looks so unnatural.

Yeah, some of them do look odd, don't they? I also am not fond of celebs who get new false teeth that are too big...For some blinding examples, take a good look at Martin Sheen's chompers or James Brown's teeth next time either one is on TV.

I read that americans are obsessed with their teeth. I'm all for well taken care of teeth, but some of these bleached out teeth and veneers look way too white and too fake.

Hillary Duff is the first person that came to mind when I read this thread. Her mouth is a complete distraction now. Her teeth look massive, especially now that she so skinny.

I think all celebs teeth look just too fake. I mean, come on, when it looks like you brush your teeth everyday with white-out, it's time to tone it down a tad.

I haven't seen Dr Phil's teeth yet. But, when I saw this thread I also immediately thought of Hillary Duff! Those teeth look so ridiculous!! Also ever notice how funny some of them talk now? It's like their teeth are too big/long for their mouth and they aren't use to them so it sounds as if they have a lisp or just can't talk right!! It is so distracting. Who is telling these celebs this looks good?

I have veneers on my front teeth because I had a problem braces couldn't fix. Believe me, if I had a choice I certainly wouldn't do it! I can't believe people volunteer for it. Nuts! And yes, they do look very different.

I have veneers on my 2 front teeth and they look very natural. My dentist matched the color very well.

The celebs are over doing it on the whiteness of the veneers. They look like they have big white chicklets for teeth.

OMG! That's it. I was trying to think of who I saw the other day with those comet brite chompers. Yeah, it was him when he was on Oprah. I almost went and got sunglasses.

The celebs are over doing it on the whiteness of the veneers. They look like they have big white chicklets for teeth.

That reminds me of the Dennis the Menace movie when Dennis replaced Mr. Wilson's dentures with chicklets.

I don't know why they have to make the veneers look so big. I mean, shouldn't they look to be more natural.
