I cannot believe that Cole is now one and that Madison is going into the 5th grade! That reminds me so much of my last WDW trip because we went in Sept during Lexi & Levi's 5th grade year. I was so sentimental that school year because it was their last year being in elementary school.

Thanks! We had such a great time at Cole's party. He really loved that cupcake!

I can't believe it either. Where does the time go? I know that I'm going to be a wreck at the end of school next year. Middle school seems so grown up!

Day 8- September 25th

Such a sad day. I hate departure day! Our flight home leaves at 2pm, so ME will pick us up around 11am. That leaves pretty much NO time to do anything. Such a bummer! This was the only nonstop flight home, so we had to take it. I would love to leave much later in the day, but I can't even think about changing planes with Cole.

Anyways....we'll probably be up early so we can finish packing and take our luggage down to check it in for our flight. After that we'll definately get some breakfast (maybe some beignets?) and make sure we've used up all of our snack credits. Gotta take home some Mickey treats! I really don't know what we'll do after breakfast. Tony suggested a last swim, but I am NOT bringing home wet bathing suits. Yuck!

I hate bringing up sad news, but my grandmother passed away this morning. She just turned 86 on June 12th and she was my last living grandparent. Right before Easter this year, she had a bad fall and broke her shoulder and shattered her wrist. Thankfully, she was at my aunt's house when this happened and she wasn't alone. She already lived in an assisted living place (she didn't need any assistance before this happened) so that was a good thing too. Anyways...I thought she was getting better, but then she fell again earlier this month getting out of a chair. She really started to decline last week because of this. I haven't seen her since December because she lives in Syracuse, but I was able to talk to her real quick on the phone yesterday (my dad has been in Syracuse since the weekend). She couldn't talk back, but I'm happy that she was at least able to hear my voice.

I probably won't be around the DIS for awhile because we'll be going into Syracuse sometime in the next few days. If you could please keep my family in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Thank you very much. It was a tough couple of days. I was happy to see my family, but I just wish it was under different circumstances.

Cole's birthday party was so adorable. I loved the Mickey theme, those chocolate covered oreos were the absolute best!! I cannot believe how big he is getting!! So excited to see his reaction to everything! You are getting so close!! Let me know if you have any questions about the rider swap, I am an old pro having used it for the past 3 trips!

How did your run go?? Have you signed up for the Princess Half?? I wish I could so bad! I am doing a full in September and naturally, would love to run in Disney. But I think we are going to Florida on a family vacation only a few weeks prior (and I'm not paying, so I have no say in dates) and I couldn't do both that close together! I am hoping to maybe do the Tower of Terror 10 miler or something in 2013 though! You'll have to let me know how your running goes!
