Celebration???What is so special??

I know that this is the 50th Celebration year....but what does that really mean???? Are there later closings? More shows? I know there are the rides EE and Soaring opening. Anything else??? We will be going in March and then again in June. I would really like to know if there is something different about these trips than the others I have taken. Can any one help???? Thanks

Also Cinderellabration stage show at MK and Lights, Motor, Action Extreme Stunt show at MGM--it is great, my DS loved it!!

First off, it's amazing what they did to the castle. It looks beautiful with all the gold trimmings. You don't want to miss the Cinderellabration show. They are also selling a ton of Celebration themed merchandise throughout the parks (big surprise there). There aren't any Celebration shows or attractions added to AK. LMA is at MGM (which I wouldn't be surprised if that stayed given that they built the stadium for that) and Soarin' at Epcot. But other than that there aren't any other differences at the parks.
