Celebration of Harry Potter- weather?

I wasn't sure where to post this but here goes...

I'm working on putting together some outfits for the CoHP in January and I was wondering what the weather is like. Obviously a lot of HP outfits have either robes or sweaters/sweater vests. Is there any chance it would be cool enough to wear one around?

Has anyone been who could comment on the temperature inside the expo?

Just wondering if I should even spend the money if I'm going to end up carrying it around all day instead of wearing it.

Winter in Orlando can be very warm, itcan be literally freezing, and it can be somewhere in between. Stay long enough and it can be all of those things.

Tons of people will be wearing homemade, other-place-made, and Universal-purchased robes, sweaters, etc. even if you’re carrying it around, you won’t be alone.

Last year I was there for Celebration from Wednesday-Tuesday. I started off the trip wearing shorts and tanks. By the end of the trip, I was wearing every article of clothing I brought along, a jacket, gloves, and a scarf, and still had to buy a Quidditch sweater to stay warm. Plan on layers. Inside the expo is a comfortable temperature that can get warm once all the bodies pile in.
