Celebration of Harry Potter Films, Nov 11-13, at Islands of Adventure

We got 4 premier packages...my mom, husband, kid, and myself.

When I talked to customer service a few days ago they said that the 150# floating around was ridiculous. He said it was limited but not that limited. I guess we will see!

They also said that everything (including autograph sessions and Q and A) will happen in the wizarding world...but again we will see!

Kind of funny that the they said that, as the ones who told me the 150 number was in fact Universal Customer service, when I called them upset about it selling out even though I was on at noon. Who really knows what the correct number is. All I know is that I'm still upset and aggravated that I'm stuck with the sucky celebration package.:sad1:

At least you got a package at all. My friend and I were both online right when the became available and neither of us could book either package.

Question, (kind of a poll)
What package do you have? The expensive Premiere package, or the "cheapy" celebrations package?

Just wondering for two reasons:
I'm curious to see how many of the 150 packages of the Premiere sold are to people on here. (hurray for you!)
And because I'm seeing ALOT of people talk about the autograph sessions and that is only included with the Premiere Package.

To answer my own question, we've got the Celebrations package.

We got 2 premiere packages - DD and I. We were also one of the supposedly select few who got an on-site hotel. I actually managed to get on the site 2 minutes before it officially opened, according to my Mac clock. I kept reloading starting about 5 minutes ahead and I was surprised when it let me start the purchase process.

I expect if the UK packages don't sell out, they might open up a few more for US residents. But, that is just pure speculation on my part.

SharonLowe...

The exact same thing happened to us. I was able to start the process about two minutes early and it went of without a hitch:yay:

Add us to the list of those who were able to access the site a few minutes early and book the Premiere package for 2.

We got 2 premiere tickets for DH and I to go without the kids. :) We also were one of the few who got onsite. I'm very excited! Also we got on right before the time, but it froze up then we restarted apparently just in time. :)

Oh and I was told only 15 people got onsite with the premiere tickets. No one was suppose to, but their system had a glitch apparently for 15 tickets. LOL! Also I was told that under 200 premiere tickets were sold in the United States, so I dunno how many were for latin america or the UK or being given away. But....I was also told there were under 200 in the US.

So who wants to share their autograph session dates and times? Ours is 5:30-6:30 the night of the gala. Anyone else? Would be great to know in case any of us want to do trades.
Our is Sat. 2.30-3.30 Im dying to meet the Phelps...I would be so disappointed I Im not

I was also wondering if you will be able to take a quick pics with them.... :( I really want to...and if you carry with you a letter or something like that. This is my first autograph session ever here in US, dont know how it works

The FAQ says to bring your camera but they can't guarantee individual photos with the cast members. Also, you can bring something to be signed but they ask that it only be one item per cast member.

Yeah...I read it too..I was just wondering if any of you had more info about...This is my dream come true, and you know, I would be pretty disappointed if we can't. I was also wondering when the movie tickets will go on sale and where.

I have no idea yet what I would like to have signed. I think they are supposed to have photos available but this will probably be our only meeting with cast from the hp movies and I would appreciate suggestions from others.Of course it would help us prepare if we knew exactly who was going to be in our session, I guess that is asking for too much though.

Supposedly everyone listed will be in each session. As for what to sign, my DD is taking a friend's wand box to get signed by the twins; we'll likely get DDs wand box signed by everyone and photos signed by all we can.

Wand boxes are a great idea for those that have wands made for their characters. I was also thinking of going with a DVD insert. or try to get a copy of a script title page that can be framed. A one sheet of the final movie would be great too...

SInce my daughter and I are going she will probably have individual items signed by each and I will get 1 thing group signed.

Signed photos are boring IMHO and not very special.

"Remember, they did say film makers as well...there are no non-actors on the list. What happens when you get only the set director and prop man for 1 film for your Q&A"

Tramps68, When I called they said that for the Q & A sessions it is all the people involved with the film. So as far as we're told by Universal it will be all those already listed and more to come for the Q & A sessions. Don't worry, you won't get stuck with only Sound guy #5 and the assistant to the make-up artist.

That is good to hear...I hope it is true

I have 3 for Premier with onsite hotel. I find it hard to believe that only 15 were available and at least 3 of those people are posting here. I think there were a few others as well earlier in the thread but I am too lazy to look back and count.

Also add me to the list of people who were on a few minutes early. I was initially pissed because I thought they dumped the whole thing on early as a surprise and I was going to be too late.

we were on early, but got bumped from the premier pkg by the time check out had completed... so we got stuck with the celebration package.

but at least we got to stay onsite :)

we've got our Q&A on 13th at 1-1.45pm. i don't mind who we get, as long as i manage to sneak a good pic of the phelps twins for my sister, that would be fab.

i'd also love if they opened up a few places in the autograph sessions (for a fee, of course) as this would be a huge bonus on a once in a lifetime visit for my sister, but still no word from Universal on how they're going to manage their 'a select number of people will have the opportunity to attend the autograph sessions and/or gala.. more information coming shortly' bit.

They did announce a contest giveaway for a 3 night premiere package. I entered because now my DS wants to go - he's coming with us but won't be able to do the Q&A, autograph, or gala unless we get it some way.
