Celebration Cake @ Tusker House

So I am planning to order a mickey celebration cake for my husband's bday while at Tusker House for dinner next month. How do they do the cake presentation at a buffet? I presume I let the server know when we're ready for it? Do they sing? I know my husband would prefer they not sing but just curious if they will if you ask. I have not found the service at most buffets at WDW to be that great, they sort of bring you your drinks and disappear. If it's not a good idea at a buffet, I will consider having it sent to our hotel room instead. Thank you.

It all depends on your server. When you check in make sure you remind them there is a cake order.

1) No singing.
2) Brought at dessert time.
3) SERVERS are busy, and bring it when THEY are ready, not always when you are ready..
4) You want better service, do not go to a buffet!

All good points. We aren’t married to eating at tusker. We’ve never been there and our kids love the buffets at Disney since we never eat at buffets at home, only there, my husband likes Disney buffets too. So it’s got that selling point.

I’ve looked over the TS options at AK and tbh I think the QS choices there are better. I am not big on heading over to AKL for dinner either since that will kill time so I’m left with Tiffins and rainforest. Rainforest is nothing special but it’s safe since it’s basic American fare. Tiffins is not apeaping to my husband so I may just scrap the dinner at tusker all together and just get the cake sent to the room on the night we arrive. I know serious issues I have right? Lol

1) At almost any non-buffet TS eatery, the SERVER will bring the cake when you plan it or ask for it.
2) Our best timing was one at The WAVE.
3) The timing was impeccable !!!
