We were up and out quite early and got to Universal for 9am, having the APs meant we parked for free. As the weather looked good we immediately changed into shorts and off we went. It looked quite busy walking into Citywalk but once we were at the Universal gates it looked a lot better.
Once inside we thought we had the park to ourselves!
First stop was the Simpsons and it was no more than a ten minute wait
It was a beautiful day and the place was still empty!
As we walked over to the Mummy we saw the DeLorean from BTTF.
Along with a part of the train.
We could clearly see a new track for a rollercoaster being built near to the New York area where Twister is, now this looks interesting!
Then it was time for 2 goes on the Mummy which was a walk on
After this we went on Twister and Shrek, Jaws was closed
So we walked back through San Francisco giving Earthquake a miss as it is one of our least favourite attractions.
The New York area was decorated for Mardi Gras.
We then decided it was time to grab a bite to eat at the Beverly Hills boulangerie. I had the cookie and chocolate milk, while Nathan had the éclair and orange juice.
The it was time for Terminator 2:3D and a walk around to have a look at the new rollercoaster in more detail.
Even now the park was still very quiet.
There was also the poster advertising the theme and name, although the theming looks familiar
