I've been to WDW many many times with my family. This will be my first trip without parents and siblings....just me and my bff for our 30th bdays! We'll be there from 8/26 - 8/31/09, staying at the Wilderness Lodge (w/dining plan)

Looking for recommendations on the best bars/restaurants for us to drink and eat our way around the world. Preferably spots with good beers and pub grub, as well as patrons of our age, rather than tons of kids.

Thanks!!

Happy birthday twice!!! I'll be celebrating mine at the beginning of August at Disney too. Be sure to hit Jellyrolls, sure to be a hit. Also, Raglan road is a nice place to eat, with good drinks, etc. For some of the best places to eat, I reccomend Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon, Artist Point, the list goes on. It all depends on what kind of food you like?

Thanks! I've been hearing a lot about Jellyrolls and now that I've checked out a few review/photos, I can't wait to go! Although I've been to WDW many times, I've never been over to the Boardwalk.

Thanks again and Happy Birthday!

happy birthday ya'ol....and a pre-welcome to the 30 club. i just joined this past march. my wife & i will be in Disney during the same time...arriving on Aug. 29th. we're staying over at the Contemporary Resort.

The boardwalk is a great place to hang out, and so is downtown disney with all the good eats around. in the parks, i'd say my favorite eats are in Epcot. In particular my favs are Mexico, Italy, France and the one in the living seas. let me know if you'd like to hang out...i'm 30 and my wife is not much younger (although she likes to claim she is).

I'm also celebrating my 30th birthday at WDW in late Aug. Our dates sort of overlap. We are there from the Aug. 22-Aug. 30. I really like Raglan Road and Jelly Rolls for drinks. The Boardwalk is really alot of fun. There are lots of good resturants...California Grill, Jiko, etc. It really depends on what your food preferences are and where you are staying.

Well happy early birthday! My boyfriend and i  are inhabiting Dis at aprox the same time as you guys (aug 27-aug 31) and i am also celebrating a birthdy.. my 21st!! Now i am not a big drinker or anything, and neither is he but if the hearsay is true... you may be interested. I have heard a few times, but can never find positive documentation, that there is a 'beer around the world tasting'. Aparantly you are given a small shot glass of a beer from each or certain countries in Epcot worlds fair area. I think this is an awesome idea (i would love to know if i like Norwegian beer lol) but like i said i can never find where this is either definately true or if it is just something someone has mentioned as a good idea and has snowballed from there... who knows... maybe its something i dreamed up in one of my many Disney World dreams!!! :goodvibes
