I know I haven't revealed my itinerary yet (and good thing too because I spent two hours yesterday during nap time making all sorts of changes) but I'm SO excited because I was able to get an ADR for T-Rex on our arrival day by calling the restaurant directly since the Disney site wouldn't give me anything! Alex has been to Rainforest twice now so wanted him to try this one out. I think he will love the dinosaurs. He always loves the gorillas at Rainforest.

Thanks I was pretty excited about that. DH not so much but I really don't care since I've done all the planning for this trip without his input so far so he can just go along and smile. If he complains he will be staying in the room

I always call TRex directly. I even got a same day reservation that way once. I don't think they give Disney control over very many time slots.

Yeah idk why I didn't think of doing that until someone suggested it on the September dis FB group. Worked like a charm! I think you're right that they don't release many slots to Disney. That's fine though. Just gotta know how to work the system

Welcome!! Disney with Alex as a 2 year old was a blast. I can't wait to experience it with him now so close to 3. I can't imagine it will be anything but amazing! I hope to get another post up this afternoon during nap time or this evening after bed time.

Ok y'all. Since we are only 26 days from our departure, instead of going through each day one at a time of our plans, I'm just going to give a quick run down of our ADR's and what parks we will be at on each day here. Sound good?

Day 1 ~ September 12th

DEPARTURE DAY!!!!!!! We'll probably leave the house around 5am to miss most of the Atlanta traffic and then stop somewhere for breakfast after we pass through downtown if we are hungry. We'll stop in S GA for lunch and then stop at the FL/GA border rest stop so the boy can stretch his legs. After that it's a short 3-4 hour drive the rest of the way to WDW so I doubt we'll stop again until we get to WDW unless we need to potty before that.

Once we arrive we will check in (I've already checked in online) and then set up our room and then head to DTD for our dinner ADR at 5:30PM for T-Rex! Alex has been to Rainforest twice and always loves the gorillas so I'm excited for him to see the dinosaurs. We'll wander around DTD for a little while after dinner and then try to call it an early night.

Day 2 ~ September 13th

First park day!!!!!

7:45AM ~ professional pictures at EPCOT with Disney Event Photography. I am SO EXCITED to have our pictures taken at EPCOT! I wish we could have the pictures done at MK but that wasn't an option. Last year we had our family pictures taken around Christmas time and the photographer dropped off the face of the earth after that so she basically took our money and ran so I have issues trusting random photographers now which is another reason I'm so excited about these pictures. I know I'm not going to get ripped off and will have the pictures back in plenty of time for our Christmas cards this year.

I've already received them and they are AWESOME! I actually received them the day after I ordered them. Now that's good customer service!

Anyways, as I was saying, we will change into those shirts and shorts and stay in EPCOT for the morning. I'm sure we will ride Nemo, Figment, TT etc etc and eat at a QS place (probably EE) and then head back to CBR around 1PM for our afternoon break. Hopefully Alex will take a nap and then once we're all ready to go again we'll hop over to

DHS for the Unleash The Villains event!!! Woo I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm REALLY hoping we'll run into Prince John for DH. He just got this awesomely awesome tattoo of him and he's his favorite character as stated before.



So we'll probably ride ST, ToT (hopefully) RnRC (hopefully), TGMR etc etc (I say hopefully to the bigger rides because DH doesn't ride them so I have to wait for my BFF Becca and her hubby to join us so I can ride with Becca's DH.)

6:50PM we have a dinner ADR at Hollywood & Vine at 6:50PM. We ate there for the first time on our trip in Dec last year and absolutely loved it! We'll try to stay as close to park closing as we possibly can (1AM) and then head back to CBR for bed time. So, all in all I think this is a GREAT way to start off our trip!

Day 3 ~ September 14th ~ MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

This is another really early day. What am I thinking? I know not! I must be crazy LOL but DS wakes up at the butt crack of dawn anyways so we should be just fine.

7:50AM ~ breakfast ADR at 'Ohana woohoo!!! Remember Stitch is my Favorite Character! And Alex LOVED this breakfast last year so I cannot wait to do it with him again. Maybe DH can get up and do the parade with him this year.

After breakfast we will head over to MK and ride all of the important sutff. I'm a little bummed that JC will be closed while we are there but it's not a main attraction so it's ok. It doesn't seem like anything else will be closed while we are there so I'm happy about that. I really want to hit Dumbo and Pooh this time since we missed out on both of those last December.

We'll probably catch a quick bite at Cosmic Rays and then head back to CBR for our mid day break around 1PM.

After our break we are headed back to EPCOT where we have a Dinner ADR at Garden Grill at 6:50PM. This restaurant is near and dear to my heart. We used to eat there every time we went to Disney with my grandmother growing up, my sister and I. And the character interaction is amazing since it's hardly ever crowded. We ate there last year with Alex and he loved it.



EPCOT doesn't close until 11PM on this night so we will make the best of it for as long as we can and then head back to CBR for bed time.

Day 4 ~ September 15th

I seriously doubt we will be up early this day but I'd like to get to the park somewhat close to opening so we can get some fast passes because we are going to

DHS!!!!! So we have to get on TSMM if we can. I think Alex will LOVE it this year! He loves to spin around and get dizzy so it should be pretty fun.

We'll ride all the rides we can stand and hit up probably Backlot Express or Pizza Planet for a QS lunch and then head back to CBR for our break at 1PM.

After our nap we will hop over to MK since they have evening EMH's and are open until 1AM! We have a dinner reservation at Kona Cafe at 5:05PM. We have eaten here for breakfast but never dinner so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

We'll try to stay as long as we can and then head back to CBR for bed time

Day 5 ~ September 16th

This may or may not be another early morning depending on how we are feeling but we are headed to AK and they have morning EMH's so I'd like to take advantage of that if we can swing it. We'd like to take Alex on KS. I want to hit up CMM. I didn't mention this but we have PP+ this trip and I'd really like to make the most of it and get as many character photo ops as possible. I'd also like to see the LK show because I think Alex would love it and I want to try and hit up Rafiki's Nature Reserve as well. So lots of plans here since this will be our only time at this park on this trip and we really didn't do a lot at AK in Dec last year.

I want to try and grab a QS bite at the FT BBQ because I LOVE BBQ but I have a feeling we'll wind up at Pizzafari lol! After that is our mid day break at 1PM

After our break we will hop over to DHS where we have a dinner ADR at Mama Melrose's. We LOVED it here last year and can't wait to go back! DHS closes at 11PM on this night so we'll stay as long as possible and hopefully I'll get to ride ToT in the dark (it's so awesome at night) and then head back to CBR for bed time.

Day 6 ~ September 17th ~ DH'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We're taking it easy on this morning. Pool, Mini Golf, maybe some shopping at the outlets and then we are headed over to MK for MNSSHP! I cannot wait for this! It's my favorite separate ticketed event that WDW does. Best parade ever! We have a dinner ADR at LTT at 4PM so we'll have to just hope they are letting people in a few min early for the party and then book it back to Frontierland for our ADR. This is another one of our favorite restaurants so I'm really looking forward to going back since we skipped it in December. The park is open until 1AM so we'll stay as long as we can stand it, watch the parade and fire works and ride as many rides as we can and then head back to CBR for bed.

I'm really not sure what we will do for QS lunch on this day. I'd actually like to eat at CBR so I can get Alex a sand pale that I've been hearing the kids meals come in.

Day 7 ~ September 18th

We're headed over to DHS in the morning. Probably wind up at whatever QS place we didn't eat at on our first morning at this park. Then head back to our resort around 1PM for our mid day break. I'd like to try and hit up Disney Jr Live and LMA on this day for Alex.

After our break we'll hop over to EPCOT. We have a dinner ADR at Teppan Edo at 6:50PM. We love this restaurant too and are looking forward to eating there again. It's always so much fun. I'd like to try and see Illuminations this time since we usually skip it and we'll try to stay until park close since EPCOT has evening EMH's on this night so it doesn't close until 11PM. EPCOT is my absolute favorite park to be in at night. Hopefully we can swing a ride on TT at night this trip.

Day 8 ~ September 19th

Not much going on this day. My grandparents live 2 hours south of Orlando so every time we go to Disney we drive down to visit them for a few hours so that's what we will be doing on this day. When we get back we'll probably hit up DTD for a little while and then call it an early night.

Day 9 ~ September 20th (last day at the parks) *sniff*

We will start off the morning at MK to say goodbye to the castle. I'd end our day here but this is a party night so it closes at 7PM to people not attending the party. So we'll do as much as we can stand here, grab a QS lunch somewhere and then take our mid day break at 1PM.

After our break we'll hop over to EPCOT to say goodbye to SE. We have a dinner ADR at The Wave at 6:55PM so we'll ride the monorail over there for dinner and then come back to EPCOT until they close at 9PM.

Day 10 ~ departure day

Saddest day ever is going home from WDW. we'll probably hit the road around 6 or 7AM

So there you have it folks. I love this year's plans so much because we are hitting two special events, hitting a lot of EMH's, we have dinner at almost the same time every night and it's just going to be awesome! I know we are going to be exhausted once we get home but I'm really looking forward to this trip! I'll have my DSLR for the first time with me on this trip along with our PP+ and professional pictures so our TR should be amazingly awesome when we get back. I can't wait!!!!!!!

Day 1 ~ September 12th

Departure day sounds similiar to ours in the past. Getting through downtown before 6:30am is a must!

Day 2 ~ September 13th

Professional pictures sound like a great idea. I wish my whole family was going this trip and we would do the same. In addition to Gabriel(8) we have a 25 and 21 year old and it is rare for them to be able to go with us now between work and school.

I love the custom made shirts. Where did you get them?

I am so sad that we will not make the villian event at DHS. There is just no way I could swing it because I am already taking Gabriel out of school for the second week of our trip.

Day 3 ~ September 14th ~ MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We did breakfast at O'Hana's one year also and really enjoyed it.

We were bummed about Jungle Cruise also although looking forward to seeing any changes they might make on our next trip.

Cosmic Rays is one of my favorite CS restaurants. I love their green beans!

We did Garden Grill last trip and really enjoyed the character interactions.

Will stop in this weekend to comment on the rest.
