Great finds on the shirts. I love that Monsters Inc one for Alex! I have some cute Monsters U shirts I got for Paxton, but despite how much he adores Mike & Sulley he never seems to want to wear them on his clothing.

Day 1 ~ September 12th

Departure day sounds similiar to ours in the past. Getting through downtown before 6:30am is a must!

Day 2 ~ September 13th

Professional pictures sound like a great idea. I wish my whole family was going this trip and we would do the same. In addition to Gabriel(8) we have a 25 and 21 year old and it is rare for them to be able to go with us now between work and school.

I love the custom made shirts. Where did you get them?

I am so sad that we will not make the villian event at DHS. There is just no way I could swing it because I am already taking Gabriel out of school for the second week of our trip.

Day 3 ~ September 14th ~ MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We did breakfast at O'Hana's one year also and really enjoyed it.

We were bummed about Jungle Cruise also although looking forward to seeing any changes they might make on our next trip.

Cosmic Rays is one of my favorite CS restaurants. I love their green beans!

We did Garden Grill last trip and really enjoyed the character interactions.

Yes it very much is. Plus we love to get down to WDW early in the afternoon.

Yes she does and she's a Disney Participant when she's not teaching. She's hoping that next summer she will be able to get hired on by Disney. Right now she works at Yak & Yetti store

We went there for breakfast for the first time last year on DS's bday and it was so much fun! Can't wait to do it again.

I agree that it's a bummer that JC is closed while we are there but it probably needs some TLC.

Thank you! Yeah I am SO EXCITED to check out the event! This is right up our alley so I'm really happy it's happening while we are down there. They did the 24 hour event on our 10 year Anniv so I was bummed we weren't able to be there for it but I'm more excited about this event in September. Thank you! He's very happy with how it turned out. He's wanted this tattoo for a really long time. I think I may cry if we see Prince John out there. I'll wait however long I have to in the line so DH can get a pic with him and autograph.

Thank you That's silly about Paxton. I only let Alex choose his clothes sometimes. I haven't seen any pattern to what he chooses yet. I don't think he really cares Typical boy.

Well, yesterday was NUTS! And I need to tell you about it. DS did wind up taking a nap but I was playing with my new toy instead of getting on here to update this report I'm sure ya'll would've done the same if you had just gotten this!



It took me two hours to set the Wii U up and then I managed to play a little Mario before dinner. So, since I forgot to take something out for dinner and DH took my car to work, I popped DS into DH's truck to go get some CFA. When I tried to crank the truck nothing happened. Nothing! Not even a clicking sound. Just nothing. So, I get DS back out of the truck and he was so upset. He was hungry and he LOVES CFA so he was not happy one bit that we did not go and get some food. I call DH and tell him what's going on. Well, he needs his truck on Fridays because I work during the day and he leaves for work for the evening before I get home. So he wound up leaving work to come home and work on the truck. He tried to jump it thinking maybe it was the battery. Nope! Couldn't have been that cheap/simple. So he went to Oriley's Auto Parts and spoke to them. He thought it may be the starter (the truck is an '04 with 115k miles on it) and they said that was probably the issue from the sounds of it. So luckily they had one for his truck in stock. He bought it and came home and started to work on the truck while DS and I ate dinner (finally got our CFA and Alex was SO happy....he actually ate it ALL). That was around 7PM. We were all out in the garage helping DH fix the truck after we finished eating. I finally put Alex to bed at 10:30PM and DH and I finished fixing the truck at 2AM. And yes, the starter was thankfully the issue. It cranked right up once we got it all back together with the new starter in place. So what's the moral of this story? Don't go buying toys for yourself that are expensive, 3 weeks before your Disney vacation because your AC is going to break and your truck will break all in the same month costing you about $300 to fix everything. I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep today and so far I've done pretty well I think. I mean, I'm making sense typing this up (I think) so far.

And now onto the TRIP UPDATES!!!!!

So as I stated before, I made more ADR changes. It didn't affect my park days though thank goodness. If I had to change what parks we are at on what days again I'd lose my marbles! But I did change some ADR's. And why you ask did I change ADR's again when the plans seemed so perfect before?? Well, I was starting to not like my H&V ADR being so close to the Villain event time so I wanted to change it but there are no more earlier times for that night right now. So I managed to nab a 4:00PM ADR for TE. I was speaking to Sharky about this and how do we get to TE. OMG now that was a confusing conversation. I am worried about parking at DHS for the Villain event so I wanted to park at MK. So if I park at MK I can take the boat over to FW and be right there at TE. But after the meal I'd have to take the boat back to MK, monorail to EPCOT then boat to DHS. But EPCOT closes at 9PM on this night I think so I'd have an issue after the event since DHS is open until 1AM. So going back the way we came was going to be a huge issue. And IDK if the buses would be going to MK at all that late. I know the party is that night at MK and it is open till 1AM but I wasn't sure if we could hop onto one going to MK. So we finally decided to not have any ADR's that night and pay OOP for a pizza at our food court before we go to DHS for the Villain event so we don't wind up using an extra QS credit. It's only $15 for a large pizza there so no biggie. Hence all the ADR switching. So here's our ADR run down as of right now.

Sept 12th ~ T-Rex 5:30PM

Sept 13th ~ no ADR's

Sept 14th ~ 'Ohana BFF Breakfast 7:45AM & Garden Grill 6:50PM

Sept 15th ~ Hollywood & Vine Disney Jr lunch 12:25PM

Sept 16th ~ Mama Melrose's 6:10PM
(this ADR was originally for 8:45PM so I was glad I was able to get earlier. Can you imagine how cranky an almost 3 year old would be trying to feed him dinner at almost 9PM?? )

Sept 17th ~ Cape May Cafe 10:35AM & LTT 4:00PM

REALLY excited about Cape May! Last time we were here was on DH's very first Disney trip so I think this will be a great way to celebrate his birthday. Plus we have an early dinner so I figured a late breakfast would work perfectly.

Sept 18th ~ Teppan Edo 6:50PM

Sept 19th ~ No ADR's visiting Grandparents

Sept 20th ~ The Wave 6:55PM

So I think we are officially all set now and I can start writing all of our park plans and ADR's into my handy dandy notebook!

me too! My head was spinning by the end of it trying to figure out what the heck was going on! Glad I had you to bounce things off of and help! I would have been so annoyed trying to get back to TE if I had waited to figure it out while we were there. I probably would've wound up calling you LOL

Oh I think I did say what it was but I'll tell you again the word bubble is tagxedo dot com and the place I made the custom shirts at is uberprints dot com. the custom shirt place was amazing! They're based in Georgia. They had my shirts turned around and shipped the same day. I received them the day after ordering. That's what I call service! I got the designs on Hanes shirts since they had that as an option. That's another thing I like about them.

And Alex got his hair cut on Friday! How adorable is my boy!? Here's the before and after picture. HUGE difference!



I cleaned out my car yesterday. Man was it ever bad. I hadn't cleaned out the inside since we bought it a year ago I'll be getting it washed next Tuesday. It's just too hot and humid out to do it myself this time. Plus it's just going to get rained on and a bunch of love bugs so why kill myself over it, right?

I think I got the last few things I needed for the trip at Walmart yesterday. My Stroller Spotter should be delivered today. Will post pictures of it later on this evening or tomorrow. And I said I wasn't going to do it but after seeing someone else's I had to, I customized and ordered an autograph book for Alex. Shutterfly says delivery between Sept 10th - 14th so I'm really on pins and needles waiting for that to be shipped out if we don't have it before the trip it's not the end of the world. I can just save it for next year but I'd really like to have it for this trip. Everyone I've spoken to says they have gotten their books in 5 days or less from Shutterfly so I'm hopeful but still nervous. This thing has 62 pages in it! I messed up at the beginning but not really a big deal. I don't think Alex will care It's more bothering me than anything.

I'm sure I'll pack us the rest of the way this weekend. I've been keeping up with the laundry and cleaning the last few weeks so it should be relatively easy if I can keep it up. I'M SO READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SEVEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!! This time next week we should be about half way to Disney!!!! Eeeeekkkkk!!!!! I decided to cancel my hair appointment for today. The last time I got my hair done my stylist cut it too short and jacked it up so I don't want that to happen again. My roots are showing though so I'm considering going out today to buy some hair coloring. It's been a long time since I've colored my hair myself. We'll see lol! I'll be packing some more today if I have time but I plan on finishing up our packing over the weekend mostly. This week has gone slow and fast at the same time. Just 3 more days of work including tomorrow! DH has 4 more days of work. Hooray!!!!!
