Hurray for single digits!!! party:

Your Animal Kingdom/Date Night sounds lovely. Will the boys ride Everest and Dinosaur? I can't remember how they feel about coasters and such.

I can totally bust a move for single digits and date night!

Hey amy! I've missed a lot! Already caught up! Can you believe we're almost there?! Let me throw in my Single digit dance!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::banana::banana::banana::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

wooohooo!! All your plans sounds great!! You are so organized...the closer we get, the less organized my brain and everything else around me becomes! :rotfl: (you should see our room!! LOL) I've been tracking the weather also...looking good so far! No matter what the weather, we'll make the most of it right?!

Can't wait to hear more of your plans!! Wooohooo!

I'm feeling more and more disorganized as we get closer, but I'm glad I have my lists to keep me on track. I didn't have time to comment, but I read your most recent update - I can't believe you have a mini-trip before your big trip! That would have me scrambling! :hyper:

Oh yeah... The boys love EE! That's one of Alex's favorite rides & Zach loves it now after last year's trip. And Dinosaur... do you remember the name of my TR last year?? :rolleyes1

I can totally bust a move for single digits and date night!

Thanks Carissa - That dancer is hillarious! Is that MC Hammer? :rotfl2:

Single digits and date nights!

I love the weather updates!

Thanks Cynthia!! Getting ready to check the weather again this morning...

Wednesday, April 28:
Park hours:
MK: 9am-10pm
Epcot: 9am-9pm
DHS: 9am-7pm
AK: 9am-6pm

Today is our Magic Kingdom day! We will want to arrive early to fit everything in. Park hours are 9am – 10pm, with Wishes at 9pm & Spectro at 10pm. Seems backwards, but the original park hours had closing scheduled at 9pm with no Spectro (Wishes at 9). Then they extended the park hours until 10pm and added Spectro at 10pm. I wouldn’t be surprised to find it flipped around, but for now, that’s how it stands.

Jeff, Karen, J & K will be at Disney today. I believe they will be touring MK with us, but I'm not positive at this point. If not, we'll catch up with them later. :confused3 I'm not worrying about it at this point, since I don't know what they even want to do yet.

According to the UG it will take us about 40 minutes, door to door, to get to MK, which means we should leave the condo by 8:00am.

Here is our touring plan:

We will probably start touring in Fantasyland then head over to Tomorrowland. We’ll head over to Liberty Square next & get some lunch while we are over there, at CHH. I loved this lunch last year – it was our first time. I especially remember the dessert – apple crisp! Mmmm… After lunch we’ll take a break and visit Tom Sawyer Island – a first for all of us!! Then we’ll head over to Frontierland & Adventureland.

We have a dinner ADR (only for 5 of us) at Chef Mickey’s at 5:35pm, then we’ll head back over to MK for Wishes. We may or may not take a mid-day break in the afternoon before heading to Chef Mickey’s.

Here’s what my touring plan looks like:
• Rope Drop? If so, leave condo by 7:45-8:00 to arrive by 8:45
• Get stroller
• Fantasyland: Mickey’s Philharmagic, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan & IASW
• Tomorrowland: Space Mountain, TTA, Buzz, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
• Liberty Square: Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents
• Lunch at CHH
• Tom Sawyer Island
• Frontierland: BTMRR, Splash Mtn., Shooting arcade?
• Adventureland: POTC, Jungle Cruise?
• WDW RR? – never ridden… is it even still open during construction??
• Walk to Contemporary by 5pm (depending where we are in the park)
• If we take a mid-day break, park at Contemporary (valet)
• Chef Mickey’s ADR at 5:35
• Walk to MK
• Find a spot for Wishes by 8:30ish
• Wishes at 9pm
• Spectro at 10pm?

We may or may not do all of the things in each Land today, but I have all of the important things I want to remember listed. (I think?? Let me know if you think I missed anything!)

We may also catch up with one of Zach’s classmates who will be at WDW for only one day and it happens to be MK today!! Totally not planned that way, but since it worked out we’ll try to cross paths. This little girl is totally in love with Zach. Her birthday is next week so she's visiting MK for her birthday.

Accuweather forecast:
Thursday 4/22: 83 & mostly sunny
Friday 4/23: 87 & sunshine
Saturday 4/24: 89 mostly sunny & warm
Sunday 4/25: 87 & afternoon t-storms
Monday 4/26: 85 with increasing cloudiness
Tuesday 4/27: 83 with an afternoon t-storm
Wednesday 4/28: 85 & a couple of afternoon showers

Not bad! :thumbsup2

Coming up tomorrow: My one week to go list & our break day.

Looks like Zack's classmate may get an extra birthday present if she gets to see her "crush" at the Magic Kingdom!! :lovestruc

Weather does not look bad... you're not even breaking into the 90's so hopefully it won't feel too, too hot!

I won't express shock and surprise that you've never ridden the WDW RR if you don't express shock and surprise that we've never visited Tom Sawyer Island!! (I could never quite get the kids interested...)

More single digit dancing!! :dance3:

Kathy

Your boys will love Tom Sawyer Island! I'm actually sad Jeff and I are skipping it...but it wouldn't be the same without our boys!

Your weather looks great! We find that April weather tends to be pretty amazing! Let's hope it holds out for our May trip!

How cute that you may be able to meet up with Zach's classmate! :goodvibes That would be a great birthday surprise for her!

I think you will be surprised with how many things you can get done during the day. Especially since the parks shouldn't be that crowded at ALL. When we went May 31-June 4 last year, the parks were practically "empty". The longest wait time we had was 30mins, the entire trip and that was for BTMRR. I hope it's the same for you! :cool1: If I could pick anytime of the year to go to WDW it would be right around this time or when we are going in October! :thumbsup2

Now that you said it, I do remember your TR title from last year.

Looks like lots of fun planned at MK -- I bet the boys will love running off their energy on Tom Sawyer Island.

I really recommend rope drop!! We were there each day back in December and we got soooooo much done each morning. It was amazing at how the lines build up later in the day. We'd walk past the poor people waiting 30 minutes for something that we had just walked on that same morning. :)

Yee-Ha for date night! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Yee-Ha...Missy you crack me up :rotfl:

I can totally bust a move for single digits and date night!

OMG...MC Hammer...what have I flashbacked to HS

We've never ridden the RR or visited TSI! :scared1:

I can't wait to visit TSI - we wanted to last year, but didn't make it. I love April/early May weather! DH thinks it's a bit hot...

I think you will be surprised with how many things you can get done during the day. Especially since the parks shouldn't be that crowded at ALL. We generally have good luck this time of year. Last year we were there the same week and the crowds were very manageable. We are so lucky that our school vacation weeks fall later than most of the rest of the country.

Now that you said it, I do remember your TR title from last year.

Looks like lots of fun planned at MK -- I bet the boys will love running off their energy on Tom Sawyer Island.

We love rope drops too... we almost always hit the parks right when they open. The boys are usually up early so we don't really have any excuses to miss rope drop.

J~

We'll be back later in the week so I won't worry at all if we don't do everything on this day. :goodvibes

Love the plans and the count down!!! WOW! It is finally here, isn't it??!! How great for you! So exciting!!! :rotfl: I think your plans look like great fun, and I am sure you will enjoy your dinner at Shula's! I have heard good things! The weather looks fine, looks like typical Florida weather, maybe a few days will be hot, but generally nice! :thumbsup2 So far no rainfall like last year!

Single Digits Woo Hoo!!!:thumbsup2

Your MK plans look great!! We LOVE CHH for lunch. We always sit upstairs & really enjoy it.

In 6 trips we have never done TSI either! I guess we should really try it one of these trips.

And :yay::yay: for date night!!

Hi All!! One week to go & I'm having Internet problems! Uggghhh... Hopefully I'll be back later with my to do list & my in two weeks post but for now I'm typing on my phone! :(

Looks like I'm back in! :confused3 Not sure what happened this morning, but it seems to have fixed itself. :cool1: I'm running out the door to soccer, but I'll update when I get back.
