Celebrating My 40th Birthday on the Dream!

Hello! I'm been a long time lurker on these forums but a first time poster here.

My husband and I have booked a 3 day cruise on the Dream for my 40th birthday in February.

I'm looking for all the tips I can get to make this the best birthday ever! I'm determined that turning 40 is going to be fabulous!

What tips and tricks do I need to know to get the most out of my Dream 40th celebration?

We've been on both the Wonder and the Magic and loved them both.

I am turning 40 in February too (2/20). DH turns 40 on 4/11. We are planning on booking a cruiise along with my BF (2/21) and her family to celebrate all of our 40th birthdays.

We have sailed on DCL 13 times, with #13 being on the Dream last month for Halloween. We are cruising again on the Dream in 4 days!

Since you have sailed on the Magic and Wonder, remember the Dream is bigger. We found that we were "lost" a little bit at the start, but it was really easy to get around.

One big difference for us is Cabanas is set up as different stations, not a continuous line like TS/BBB. However, it is easy to see how people could think it was a continuous line as they were in a line. The photos at Shutters are better on the Dream too...no searching through a wall of pics, rather you will have all of your stateroom's pictures in a folder.

For 40, I think we will splurge and do Remy. For our recent 4 night, and the upcoming 3 night, we haven't, as I didn't want to miss any of the main 3 restaurants.

but just wanted to say that I'm celebrating my 40th on the Dream in March. It's actually a sea day the day of my birthday and I'm planning the Rainforest for DH and I, maybe a Palo dinner, then Pink for a glass of champagne. I can't wait!
