celebrating my 40th at the World

I gotta stop buying stuff though. LOL! :rotfl2:

Ok I got a email from Disney about the EMH for March 8. It gave me a number.
I just called and talked to a person, The EMH evening hours are for MK on March 8th, but Spectro is still scheduled for March 9.
So that is the best kept secret right now. LOL!

Also for those who don't know, the new mugs are now out.
I'm mixed on this. I wanted a new mug, but then after being set that it wasn't going to happen I decided we would save money and jsut bring ours from last year (I know that is soo wrong). So I think I'm gonna be good and bad. I'm gonna buy a new one for me. I'll let DH make up his own mind and buy one if he wants. And I will bring at least 1 cup from last year for DD. The thing is, she will barely use it. And she will use it for milk and stuff too.(she likes a straw for everything). If I get yelled at for filling a bit of juice for her, I'll dump it and/or buy her one. But I'll at least get a new one for me. LOL!

I guess I'll play it by ear! This really sucks for people who don't do a hopper! Had they not changed the mugs I would have brought all the old ones for my sister and her friend...do they really expect people to buy the same old mug each time they go? Puhlease! I had deluxe dining in August of '08. Didn't use my mug a single time. When I went in December we did regular dining. I brought them back with us. My parents used them for coffee. We used them if we ate CS in the hotel. Do I feel bad? No because I paid for them in August....just never used the service. I'll end up w/a ton of them this year too. Four this round and Five next time.

I have a question....you started a photopass share right? How much would it be if we joined? I'm just curious. I wasn't going to do it at all this time but if it's really cheap I might. I saw that you complained about how it worked out last time. When I get home I do my PP first thing, order, and have it within a week. Are you the same way?

Yes, I like to get it done fast.
Our photopass group consist of 6 people, and I think it was like 20.50 per person, including adding cost for shipping to each of htem and CD' envelopes, that kind of stuff. I added a dollar to anyone who paid via paypal. I am going to preorder the Cd the day before I leave, and then when I get home I am going to load mine, and each of the others are supposed to PM me their codes and I'll load them too on different days so we don't all bog it down at once trying to edit. I told my group that I hope to have all editing done before the end of March so hopefully they will arrive before Easter.
I went the first week in March last year, and I think I never got my CD till June.
So if you do one, you might want to actually lead it, so you know you are getting it done fast.
I was happy with the pictures and that it was somuch cheaper, but I was getting mad that our leader never would get back with us, and when she did there always was an excuse. but I have heard that is not how it usually goes for most groups. Lucky me found the bad one.

OK, I bought more stuff!

But this was stuff needed. Of course!

My cell phone battery is not holding a charge very long and DH and I direct connect each other alot. (nextel). And if we get sepreated at the park, thats how we find each other. Well I don;t think my phone will hold a charge for a day, and when you actually use it, it goes faster. So I went to the Sprint/Mextel store yesterday for a battery. They want $50 for it and have to special order it. In April I am eligibal to get a new phone, which will cost about $40, so I thought heck no, I'm not paying that much for a battery. I looked on ebay and got 2 batteries with free shipping for $15. So I got them. My phone is fine, just the battery is not holding.

Also decided to get another SD card for my point and shoot. I plan to bring my old Kodak along for DD to use, so I figured I better have an extra card for myself then. Got a 2 G one for $5.99 with free shipping.

Ok done shopping now!
:wizard:

I'll see if I can get one started right quick...if not maybe we can join yours. I'd just pay you there in person (cash). Would you care? Actually...waiting for a little bit doesn't bother me so much but waiting for months like you had to do is not cool.

sure thing.
What day do you arrive at Pop? Are you still doing an all Stars before hand?
I am know I'll be around the resort in the mornings, becuase DD and DH will probably sleep in. (the fools) but I can never sleep much and up by 6 or 7 most days. LOL! Sometimes I walk around taking pics or do laundry.
So if you see some chick with her camera and a bag of laundry, that's me! LOL!

The Alice dress has arrived!!!!!

I can't believe how fast it came. She shipped it Wed. DD is at a play date right now, so I can't try it on her. She should be home with in the hour though. I'll take her picture and post it when we try it on. I got the 4/5 and hope it fts well. I debated on going bigger (always my dilema) but I think this should be fine.

Ok, so I tried on her alice dress.... She is actually still wearing it...but the head hole is sooo small and we had a heck of a time getting it on. I kept stretching the area to try and kind of rip threads. LOL! And finally it slipped over. It fits perfectly though, so not sure why the head hole is so small with no give. Haven't tried taking it off yet. Hopefully not too hard. :upsidedow

Here is the Alice dress.

She kept asking me to take pictures of her in different poses.

And you know a dress is good when it does this while you twirl. She has a major thing about twirling dresses. princess:

I Love that Alice dress!! Nova my daughter, has a real unique one that is about 15 yrs old. and in super condition. But she outgrew it.

Jen - subbing. Love your PTR.

Claire is making me miss the little girl times (my DD is 15). Just beautiful.
We have talked and I only live 30 minutes from you. I know the dirt bike place you were talking about. And the snow if finally gone. Now the kids are covered in mud from the rain. The creek behind the house is at flood level as are the fields.

your husband seems like a good sport with all the Disney stuff.

By the way you are beautiful 40 year old! Happy Birthday to you!

That was FAST!!! Go Ms B!!! It looks amazing on her! She makes a perfect Alice!!! :goodvibes

Thanks everyone.
She had to model it for daddy later on too.

UGH! I'm so tired today...already! LOL! Some idiot called our house at about 2:30. When the phone rings it's a big deal here as usually it means the cows got out and we got to get them in (well DH does, I keep sleeping. :rotfl2: )

So I quickly ran to get the phone and they asked for Dean with a accent that sorta sounded Mexican. DH's real name is Dean, but not too many people really call him that. But I thought maybe it was one of the Mexcian guys who work for us. I give him the phone and they ask him for me. I hung it up then. Someone playing around.
Both our names are listed in the phone book. And for some reason we seem to get alot of calls like this. We haven't for awhile, but we used to alot. And some would call nightly. We talked to the phone company and they told us how to put a trace on it, but I don't remember anymore. :confused3 I think we are lucky candidates because our last name starts with D, so we are near the front of the phone book. (our phone book is small too)
So it just seems like I never really fell back to sleep much, just dozed off and on. DH said the same thing too this morning.

Happy Valentines Day!! Make up for it by taking yourself an afternoon nap!!:rotfl:

I've been reading anotehr older trip report and it had the coolest idea. They had a little gift or "disney mail" for the little girl each,(at least I think becuase I only read part so far)

I love this idea

So I was thinking of doing something like this maybe. I already have the dress for BBB as a surprise from her fairy godmother.
And I bought a Nemo game for her leapster last month that I was planning on wrapping and giving to her on the plane, but maybe I'll leave it on the counter with a note saying it's from "nemo" and not to open it till on the plaen.
So any other ideas? I'm looking for small stuff. Like myabe stickers from a princess. Or tattoes. Not sure where to find Disney tattoes though. My sister just bought her some Ariel ones (that I can't find), maybe I'll ask her.
but I would love any ideas you guys may have.

Just a couple ideas for keeping Claire occupies. Target has quite a few things in the $1 area upp front. I am not sure of the selection on Airport Hwy, but the Rossford store has quite a bit. Markers, pens, stickers, activity books, hair things... that sort of thing. And for a buck! I also picked up sun glasses (WallE) yesterday for my twins.

I also made shirts from the Disigners here on the Dis boards. I would post picture but need to learn how:confused3

We are under the 3 week timeframe. I know your house is a buzz!

We need more postings from you. I am trying to figure out what I forgot!

Hi there,
Your trip report is great so far! I love all your retro Disney pics :thumbsup2, I have the same one with me and Honeypot Pooh Bear. Claire is adorable!!! I remember seeing her pictures on the Pop thread last year. the one of her holding Tink is hysterical :lmao:. I love all the Princess dresses you bought her. Enjoy it while you can, my DD8 is out of that princess stage. But we did buy her that same Alice dress from Ms. B last year. Claire makes a great Alice! Your itinerary looks perfect! I can't wait to hear how you liked Hopp Dee Doo since we are trying it in May this year. Also wanted you to know that Cape May Breakfast is excellent for food and characters, so good choice. Congrats on your weight loss, it's hard trying to get your body back after that last child. I still have 15-20 lbs. :sad2: I could lose since having my DS who will be turning 5 on our trip. Any tips you have on what works for you would be awesome :).

Thanks, we are actually heading to airport hiwy target tonight. I usually go to the one by the mall for the most part, but last two trip[s have been to Spring meadows. 2 weeks ago they had some stuff, but it was pretty picked over, but maybe new is out now. I also hear Michaels had a bunch, and we went to the one on airport hiwy, but it had basically nothing Disney, notr had they (I asked), so maybe this week I'll check the one over by the mall.

I can hardly wait. Under the 3 week mark now. I'll post in a seperate post about stuff I typically bring, or suggestions, but would loves others as well.

We did Hoop Dee Doo last year too. We loved it. It is a bit corny, but very fun. And the food was good. Let me know if there are any specifics you want to know.

My weight loss is very slow...but I try to exercise daily and break up my routines. I walk on my treadmill, ride the exercise bike, do walk away the pounds workouts, I have several of "the Firm" work outs. Weather permitting, which it hasn't for months..I'll wlak outside. And these past two weeks I've been doing "slim in 6" workouts. I try to keep my body guessing. But I still try to walk or ride the bike in additon to my other workouts. Some days I get 20 minutes of exercise, some an hour or two.
With eating, I try to eat around 200 calories for breakfeast..like a slimfast bar, or yogurt and a peice of fruit, or a nulti grain english muffin (which is really low calories. Slim fast bar for lunch, and jsut a typical supper. Some days I go over board, others I am good. For snacks, I do 100 calorie pack or jello sugar free pudding with whip cream, or sugar free jello with whip cream. I've been trying ot follow this "diet" since August, and though it goes slow, it's become just a normal daily habbit now. And not eliminating things totally makes it easier o stick with this lifestyle. When I go to parties, I try not to overindulge, but don't limit myself either.
Tonight we are celebrating my b-day and my sisters (which is tomorrow) with the family, so I'll try to be good all day and we'll have pizza and cake tonight!  :worship:
