Celebrating Mother's Day 2009... WE'RE HERE!!! update 5/11

As of now we are exactly 84 miles from disney world!!!! We stopped and had lunch and the Lady & Son's in Savannah, GA and it was delish!!! I can't wait to be done driving!!! It is 88 degress and fairly heavy traffic. We didn't get to our hotel last night until 2 this morning, and we were up at 7:30, so we're all pretty tired, but anywhoo.... we are going to be at Disney world in about 1 hr 20 mins!!! Can't wait for Breakfast with Mickey in the morning!!!

We went and ate at Earl of Sandwich tonight, and DTD was CRAZY crowded!!! I hope it's not an intidation of what's to come for this week. They were having school bands playing there, so I'm hopeing that's why it was so crazy crowded!!!

That could be the reason and it being Mother's Day weekend too. DTD is a free venue so maybe they are just day visitors. Hey, it doesn't matter to me. We are gonna be at Disney!!!!!!!!!

Chef Mickey's this morning was WONDERFUL!!! We went resort hopping when we left breakfast and decided to hop on over the the boardwalk, and ventured around over there and it was SOOOO HOT we decided to find Beaches and Cream. Yes folks... we did it.... yellow light flashing... we got the humdinger of ice cream... the kitchen sink!!! It was REALLY good!!! I think we are going to try and go back to DTD tonight and get mom a mother's day gift. They had a pooh bear holding a balloon that said happy mom's day 2009 at contempary and she liked that, so we will see what we can find when she's not with us. have a nice night everyone!!!

Last night we went to Hoop-dee-do Revue, and I HIGHLY recommend to ALL!!!! It was extrordinaire!!! Today we aren't doing parks... we are going to ride down to titusville and watch the shuttle launch and then go eat at dixie crossroads!

The space shuttle launch was awesome!!! I thinking about doing a TR once I get back home. I never imagined it would be so fast. I got a couple pics but not many. I was trying to look through the binoculars and take pics at the same time which didn't work out so well lol

She really enjoyed it, and hoop-dee-doo was AWESOME!!! She loved that more than anything we did, and we've done the whole trip!!!
