Since we were going to Disneyworld to Celebrate DD's Birthday we let her choose most of the restaurants we would be dining at. The first one she chose was Coral Reef. Now, I have to admit this was a big surprise to me because I'm the only one in my family that eats seafood. DW can't even stand the smell so I asked DD why she chose this and her answer was she wanted to sit next to the tank and see all the fish. She also thought it would be cool if a Diver came up to her with a Happy Birthday sign.

Originally it was just going to be the 4 of us but DW's parents and sister wanted to come too. None of them like seafood either but they said they would get salad.

DMIL got the Ceaser salad and said it was very good.

I got the Lobster Ravioli. I was so looking forward to eating this after seeing the shrimp and chunks of Lobster on this plate. I am sorry to say that it was very disappointing. It had no taste. The cream was okay but the seafood was tasteless.

DW got the steak after my uncle's reccomendation and she was very disappointed too. DW said it was too fatty and the potatoes were super salty.

DD and DS both got pizza and this came with no sides. Also not very filling.

DFIL and DSIL'S BF both got chicken and DSIL got the Wintergreen salad. We didn't take pictures of these but the chicken would have been better if it was boneless and the salad would have been the bomb if it was bigger.

For dessert they brought out this chocalate brownie for DD. She ate the whole thing so I guess it was good. Or she was still hungry

DW and I shared this Jack Saniels and Baileys Mousse. This was the best part of our meal.

DW,DSIL and I gave this 2 out of 5. We were disappointed in our meals and since we had a large party they couldn't sit us near the tank. DD was almost in tears which broke our hearts.

DD and DS both gave it 3 out of 5. They still enjoyed seeing the tank even though we were seated so far away from it.

DMIL gave it 1.5 and DFIL gave it 1.

All agreed we wouldn't be coming here again.

I forgot to tell you how our day started...

We woke up early again today so we could check out of ASMo and drive over to our "Home". BWV where we would spend the rest of our vacation.

The plan today was for everyone to meet us at the Boardwalk and we would take the boat to Epcot. After checking in we went to the Boardwalk Bakery to get something for breakfast while we waited for the DIL's to arrive.

DD got the Oreo Dream cupcake and DW got the cheesecake brownie. Both loved these.

I got carrot cake (my favorite) and DS got a blueberry muffin. The carrot cake was good but I've had better in the World.

Before we finished our goodies from the Bakery the DIL'S arrived and we were ready to get the boat.

After dinner at Coral Reef (see above) it was time to Drink Around The World

We started in Mexico's Tequila bar where I have dreamed of getting the Tequila Flight since I read about it on the menu. DSIL'S BF was supposed to do the flight with me and DFIL but he chickened out . I'm no expert on tequila but I do like me some Petron so I couldn't wait to try this. We both got the least expensive flight which consisted of 3 different types of tequila and the red stuff was a chaser (nasty).

I was very disappointed in this. They have a bunch of them all set up behind the bar so you just ask and they bring the flight to you. Don't know how long they were sitting there . after downing all 3 shots I didn't even get a buzz. I expected to feel something but Nooooo. Oh well at least I tried it

Bailey's coffee. I get this every trip. One of my favorites.

China

DW got a cantaloopy. She liked this and I tried it and thought it was good.

DSIL got plum wine. She didn't like it so I drank it for her

We didn't get a drink in Italy but I had to get this

Cannolli. I can't pass it by. This was good but very small. Shared with DW and we each got one small bite and it was gone.

Our final drinks were from Japan

Tokyo Sunset. Very good. Would definitely get this again.

We planned on spending the day at Epcot today. DSIL and her DBF left for New York early this morning and DMIL and DFIL decided they were just going to have a nice relaxing day. So we were on our own.

We walked to Epcot. This is one of the reasons we chose the Boardwalk when we bought our DVC. I love that you can walk to both Epcot and HS. You don't have to deal with buses. It's also nice to take a boat over to either park.

We went over to Sunshine Seasons for breakfast

DW and I both got the breakfast platter. Scrambled eggs,Bacon,Sausage,French Toast and breakfast potatoes. This was a good start to our day. DW also got chocolate cake. The last time we ate here she said it was so good. This time it was just alright.

DS got the fruit cup. He isn't big on breakfast. At least he found something to eat.

DD got a bagel and cream cheese. She loves bagels. I don't care for bacon so I gave mine to the kids.

The kids wanted to do the Kim Possible game so after roaming some stores we headed over towards the World Showcase. We stopped at the first Kim Possible kiosk and got our cell phone and instructions. I say "we" because although this was supposed to be for the kids DW and I ended up having to help them solve the clues.

This actually turned out to be alot of fun. We didn't plan on going on any rides since we did that the day before so this was something new and different to do.

After a couple hours we decided to stop in Morrocco and get something for lunch at the Tangerine Cafe.

DW got the chicken shwarama(forgive the spelling)roll. She was disappointed in this. She said it was very fatty. Usually she likes this.

DS got a cheeseburger. He loves cheeseburgers. This kid would be happy if we only fed him cheeseburgers and pasta with sauce

I got the Lamb shwarama. I liked this. I always get this when we come here.

DD got chicken nuggets. I swear she'd be happy if we just fed her this everyday

After lunch we finished Kim Possible and then went back to the Boardwalk to get the bus to MK.

We had 6:30 reservation at Chef Mickey's and figured we'd walk from MK to the Contemporary. One of the bus driver's saw us heading that way and asked if we wanted a ride. He was ending his shift and said he would take us over there. It was very nice of him to offer and it saved us from having to walk a long way around to cross the street.

We checked in at CM and walked around a bit. After about 10 minutes our charger went off and we were seated.

We started off with salads. These were all good.

Next came our entrees

My first plate was Turkey,mashed potatoes,broccoli and ravioli. Sorry this is so blurry. I took this picture. This is why DW doesn't let me take pictures. This was just ok.

DS got pizza and corn bread.

DD got Mickey mac and cheese and chicken nuggets.

DW got Roast beef, mashed potatoes,a baked potato and beef stroganoff. She said it was good.

The kids got more of the same for round 2.

DW got ravioli,mac and cheese and vegetables.

I got roast beef, mashed potatos, corn bread and vegetables.

For dessert ...

DD got a bowl of ice cream and a Birthday cupcake. DS had to help his Big Sister blow out the candle.

DS got a bowl of ice cream too. I got this assortment of pastries.


DD and DS gave Chef Mickey's 5 out of 5.

DW and I gave it 3 out of 5. This restaurant used to be one of our favorites. The food used to be better and I seem to remember having more to choose from. Also, the character's used to come around more and spend more time at each table.

This morning we had a 9:05 reservation for breakfast at Tusker House in AK. DMIL and DFIL met us at Boardwalk and we took the bus to AK. We checked in and were seated almost immediately. First we had our picture taken with Donald Duck. We didn't buy this photo since we bought the one the night before at CM and they are expensive.

DD and DS got bacon,scrambled eggs,Mickey waffle,tater tots,cheese blintz and breakfast pizza.

For my first plate I got sausage,ham,scrambled eggs ,tater tots,breakfast potato and hash with a corn bread crust (don't remember the name). I thought this was good.

My second plate was Bobitie,Mickey waffle,Sausage and breakfast pizza. Again I thought this was good.

DW and her parents got pretty much the same as the kids.

DD gave this 5out of 5.
DS gave it 3 out of 5.
DW,DMIL,DFIL and I gave it 4 out of 5. Something for everyone to enjoy. The character's came to our table and played a little with the kids.

Having a great time with the report so far! Sorry your wife didn't enjoy the schwarma this time...I haven't gotten to try it yet, but it has been on my to do list.
