Celebrating Anniversary

DS & DDIL will be in Disney a few days before their wedding anniversary. I know they didn't note it on their reservation. Is there a way I can make this known at the hotel they are staying at? I remember from a few years ago when we celebrated our anniversary their was a card from the characters in our room. Do they still do that as I'm sure granddaughter would love it.

Do you have their reservation number? If so, call and get it added to their reservation if you are sure that they would like that.

recognition of anniversaries can be different at different resorts and sporadic at any, it seems to me. On our most recent anniversary trip, DH and I went club level with a split stay for our 45th anniversary. We received buttons at the GF RPC, but that was all. At the BWI CL we received a couple of balloons in the room and a note from the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary, IIRC. if your DS and DDIL wear the buttons various CM's will wish them a Happy Anniversary when they see them.

on other anniversary trips we have received as little as nothing, but usually you will get the Anniversary pins at least. They can also pick up the pins in the MK at the town hall, I believe.

We go annually over our Anniversary. I agree with @Babsy. Recognition has gone from nothing, to pins, to a Voice Mail Happy Anniversary call from Minnie and Mickey, to a card signed by the characters at Vero Beach.
The only way to be certain is to book a something special (a cake, chocolate covered strawberries etc), and pay for it.
