Can anyone give me some ideas for Anniversary suprises for my DW. We are going in Sept. for our 24th anniversary. I wanted to get the Divers at the Coral Reef to hold a sign up but don't know how to go about it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Congratulations! If you call Debbi Sacleux at the Coral Reef 407-560-6856 she will give you the info on how to arrange for the diver. You can also have a souvenier menu made up and she will tell you about that as well. Have you thought about afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian? or maybe see if you can arrange one night at one of her favorite resorts as a surprise?

Have a great time whatever you do!!:goodvibes :yay:

Don't forget to get the anniversary buttons from guest services.

We are celebrating our 10th this year and will be at Epcot that day. I purchased my wife a silver necklace and when we get to the Japan pavilion I will have her pick a pearl to go with it.

If your budget allows for it, there is no better way to celebrate an anniversary in WDW than at Victoria and Alberts.

We are celebrating our 10th as well at Disney in September (1st trip there as a family) and you have all given me some great ideas for me to start planning. Thank you

ps where is Victoria and Alberts

I booked a pontoon boat to watch the Illuminations fireworks. It was a wonderful view and so nice to not have to fight the crowds before and after the fireworks!

There are snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) on the boat and, if you pay a little extra, they will decorate the boat with an anniversary theme.

Have fun planning! :goodvibes

Victoria & Alberts is the best dining experience in WDW. It is located in the Grand Floridian. It is very expensive, but in my opinion, worth every cent and even more.

Thank You I will see if I can get a dinner reservation on our anniversary

There's also a way to have a "private dining experience" at the GF. My DSis did this with her DH to celebrate their anniversary in 2005. They had a private table on the grounds of the GF, and then got to watch the fireworks. They had a personal waitress the entire time. I remember that at the time, the cost was NOT astronomical, considering the lovely setting. And they did have a backup place for the meal in case of inclement weather. You need to contact them and they will give you prices, depending on your wishes.

Here's a link to give you some basic info: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_gfp.htm

This is something that I would love to surprise DH with sometime. :lovestruc

My dh and I celebrated our 10th at the BWV, it was a different experience without the kidlets!!

He had go in before we arrived and had the room decorated, they put up pixie lights and heart garland, a bottle of wine with 2 mickey wine glasses, chocolate, rose petals from the door to the bed, a vase with roses and light candles. It was beautiful, dh is not home so I will post later with the contact name and number if you are interested, a search of the Dis "anniversary room decorating" will show lots of ideas as well.

Also we let them know in our ressie that it was our 10th and one day we returned to our room and there were balloons attached to a card, inside was a pic of Cinderella and Prince Charming, they both signed it ans wished us happiness, it was very unexpected and exciting. We also got the Anniversary buttons.

Here are some pics of the room all set up,

Thanks everyone for all the great info. I was just confirmed this morning a special message by the divers a Coral Reef. I have emailed some wedding pic and they will prepare special menu for her with pics.

For everyone celebrating, Congratulations and I hope you have a Disney experience. Anyone waiting for Debbie to return the call be patient, she will get back to you.

That's awesome! :goodvibes Glad you were able to find something special. We ate at Coral Reef last year, and it was a great meal (and we're not even seafood lovers). And the divers had cool messages for people, and even Mickey was in the tank ... his special message was a "Will you Marry Me" one for a couple sitting right at the window. The whole restaurant was cheering!

Enjoy. :)

If I may be bold how much does the message thing cost. We have our 5th there in December and my DW always wanted to eat there but we could not fir it in on our Honeymoon.

Great idea but she would freak if I spent too much.
